This small but surprisingly spacious Japanese house is located in a very convenient area and is impeccably well-maintained. The small garden adjacent to the house is absolutely stunning, and I particularly loved the atmosphere of the bathroom overlooking the garden. Even though it is located in an urban area, we didn't experience any disturbances at night and were able to enjoy a peaceful and quiet stay. The staff at the front desk was extremely welcoming and polite, making our stay even more pleasant. And there's no TV. ##### Steven Verified ### 10/10 Excellent #### Verified traveller 8 Sept 2015 Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities, room comfort #### 집 같은 숙소 돌이 안 된 아이를 데려가는 여행이어서 버스보다는 지하철이 가깝고 기어다니는 데 불편함 없고 위험한 물건도 없으면서 이유식도 만들 수 있는 곳을 찾아 선택한 숙소인데 예상처럼 좋은 곳이었다. 관광 중심지에 위치하지는 않았지만 지하철이나 버스로 쉽게 돌아다닐 수 있었고, 근처 동전세탁소나 마트의 이용도 편리했다. 1층은 상점이 입점해있고 1층 방은 상점이 운영되는 동안 이용을 할 수 없기는 한데 그리 바쁘지 않아서 크게 신경쓰지 않아도 된다. 숙소를 관리하는 점원과 상점을 관리하는 점원 둘 정도가 있으며, 숙소쪽 점원은 매일 오전 9시부터 오후 6시까지 근무한다. 2층을 오르내리는 계단이 좀 가파른 편이어서 아기띠를 한 채 아기를 데리고 다녔고, 방에 있을 때에는 계단으로 향하는 문은 닫아두어야하는 정도의 불편함이 있었지만, 크게 문제 되지 않았다. 전반적으로 아기 낮잠 재우고 쉬면서 여행하기에 만족스러운 숙소였다. ##### Verified traveller Verified ### 10/10 Excellent #### Verified traveller 20 Aug 2015 Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities, room comfort #### Great Traditional Japanese Experience Love this place. We got the whole 2nd floor (consists of 2 big rooms w/ private modern western toilet) to ourselves. This place only rent to one family/group each day, so we were the only guests. The first floor served as a shop, which only opened a few hours each day for five days. Thus, we pretty much had the whole house to ourselves during our stay. We felt like we rented a house rather than a room in a hotel. Great place to experience traditional Japanese house like setting with modern comfort (tatami beds, wood/paper windows covering modern windows, AC, modern toilet and bath, microwave and kitchen). The bathroom is in the backyard and totally modern. The backyard was another place we liked. We love how close this place is to both subway and JR railway.
