However, to reach it from Kyoto station it is required to take three subway stations and a >10 minutes walk. But you can at least let comfortably transfer your luggage to the house (from Check-in office next to Kyoto station). In conclusion, we would chose it another time when visiting Kyoto as the area is very attractive and a very good starting point for various points of interest. Ramen restaurant is also next by for pleasant evenings.
