Washing machine was convenient. Due to it being an older building, insulation isn’t very good and gets very cold in the winter and need heaters in all rooms. Location is not great as it is walking distance to most places. Bus stop 7 minute walk. Could have provided more furniture such as chairs. There were 4 of us and the 2 bedroom comfortably fit us and there was another room downstairs where the family could hang out and that room could have fit another 2 occupants. If there is a negative, the TV was rather small and was not a SMART TV so you will be stuck just watching Japanese channels. The place is walkable to the Nishiki Market area as well as Shiro shopping district. Please note that you will have to check in at a separate location near Kyoto railway station.
