The property is nicely maintained and we were very comfortable. Chie san was very helpful. We tried out some more of her recommended restaurants and were not disappointed. A particular plus is that the house, while very quiet, is just steps from a major bus line, so that it is very easy to get downtown, to the station, or to Higashiyama or Gion, in just minutes. We also enjoyed walking to Kitano Tenmangu and to Kinkakuji, although a bus will also take you to those places even more quickly. It was every clean, well maintained and had everything you needed. A wonderful experience of living in a Japanese style house. An easy walk to the bus stop made it very convenient to travel and see the sights of Kyoto. The apartment was so comfortable and the area was so beautiful. There is so much space and it is very cute and traditional. It is located on a quiet little street just a block away from the imperial palace. In addition to all this the owner is incredibly nice and accommodating. This is one of the best places I have ever stayed. Die Wohnung ist zentral in Kyoto gelegen mit sehr gutem Anschluss an Bus und U-Bahn und trotzdem in einer sehr ruhigen Wohngegend. In der Umgebung gibt es viele Einkaufmöglichkeuten und gute kleine Retaurants. Da es sich um ein Gästehaus habdelt, gibt es keinen Zimmerservice.
