Clean and well situated. The stairs make taking luggage upstairs a little tricky as they are narrow and steep. Only hiccup was instructions for controls/ washing machine unclear. Instructional pictures provided did not match actual machine and difficult to figure out. Tried to get help from hotel for transportation upon check out but was told to get a taxi on the street. It's so close to Kiyomizudera and Kodaiji, that you can easily stroll at night. The house is small but well-equipped. However, the service need to be improved. During 4 nights we stayed, it had not provide any cleaning services. And since there is no vacumm or broom, we used our hands directly to clean the house. Nespresso coffee capsules are not in the original shape, which made the machine not working.
