Magasinn Kyoto | Stay in a Kyoto Local Magazine

Magasinn is a combination of a small design store and lodging space, offering guests time to experience carefully selected products, books, and artwork overnight.

We changes its content regularly, providing guests with new ideas and new topics, just like an actual magazine.

The building is a renovated two-story wooden machiya, a symbol of Kyoto. It is reserved exclusively for one group per day.

We look forward to meeting new ideas from all over the world.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy
The host was extremely accommodating and responsive. He helped with every request I had and offered a discount on store goods. The shop and gallery atmosphere added a fun, eclectic vibe to our stay. We stayed in the winter and found that the temperature control in the inn was excellent. Don't overlook that, as good heat regulation is rare for older, traditional homes.
