Their staff Ms Choi is very nice and speaks good English. We went to Kyoto for our honeymoon, and she is very kind to offer us a welcome gift. 2) The house is close to Kyoto Station (\~5 min walk). The neighborhood is very quiet and safe, and close to car rentals, car parks, convenient stores and restaurants. 3) The house is a beautiful old Japanese style building well equipped with air-conditioners, modern kitchen, bath, toilet and laundry etc, and even better there is a foot massager machine there! 4) The bedroom is located on the 2nd floor, big enough for 3-4 adults. The stairs are quite steep, we are fine with that but might not be suitable for the elderly or young children. The futon (Japanese bedding) is very soft and very comfortable to sleep on.
