The hosts are quick to respond to any questions in perfect English. It's clear they have been doing this for a long time and have mastered it! They even provided us instructions in Japanese to give to our taxi drivers (which was a life saver!). The house is beautiful, quiet, and serene, with all the modern amenities you want.
