This hotel was perfect for the area. It was in a great location for walking, with excellent coffee and matcha nearby, plus easy access to temples and other tourist attractions. By far, the best part was being able to walk to so many places. The only downside was that the room was very small, but overall it was still a great choice.
The room was super clean & stocked with towels, toothbrushes, soap, etc.
I booked the view with the shrine view and it was absolutely amazing & worth spending the little extra for it, the breakfast included was super fresh and amazing to have every morning I stayed. As well the staff were always present and available for any and all needs, the location is perfect for those interested in visiting shrines/"old" kyoto while always being close to go to the city/market areas.
I would absolutely stay again
From the second i stepped in, i was immediately helped by the front desk staff, handed a basket with choices of a facemask and bath salt. The room is comfortable so are the beds, pillows, pjs and everything needed to make the stay pleasant. At my departure, they even came outside to call a taxi and tell the driver my direction. Highly recommended 👍👍
This is the most amazing little hotel we ever stayed at and we do travel a lot. Our superior room was big compared to the average Japanese hotel room and the bathroom was very modern. The staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful - special thanks to the chef who realised that we did not really eat much of our Japanese breakfast and made us a more European style breakfast the next day with coffee!!! We did not expect this so “arigato”
We took a gamble staying here with it being a new hotel and there being no reviews but it absolutely paid off!! We had a wonderful stay here! The hotel is absolutely beautiful, and the rooms are really spacious!! The photos of the hotel dont do it justice. Its also spotlessly clean and they provide you with absolutely everything; face masks on arrival, perfect self pamper following a day of exploring! They also provide you with creams, all the toiletries you need, hair bobbles, ear plugs, literally everything you can think of! Breakfast is also delicious and the staff are so lovely! Tge location is also brilliant! I have every faith this hotel will become the most sought after in kyoto!!
