"Excellent staff, very helpful and kind. Breakfast was great everyday. The spa was great, sauna was amazing I was there on my birthday, they took the time to deliver chocolate to my room and a glass of champagne at dinner. I had a Danube river view balcony room. I highly recommend this hotel."

"I had a really enjoyable stay at H2 Hotel Budapest and would happily stay again. The room was clean, modern, comfortable, and very well maintained. I also really enjoyed the breakfast — it wasn’t excessive, but there was a good selection and the dining area was pleasant and comfortable. Two small things could make the experience even better. The hotel mentions that tap water in the room is drinkable, but in my room the water stayed very warm to hot even after running it for several minutes, so it wasn’t really practical for drinking. It would be great if that could be checked. The check-in process also felt more time-consuming than necessary because guests are asked to manually complete a registration form with personal and passport details at the desk. A more streamlined or digital process would make arrival much smoother. Overall, though, I had a very positive experience and would definitely recommend the hotel."

"The hotel front desk staff are really helpful, the rooms and beds are comfortable (apart from the noisy AC controller that keeps switching on/off every few seconds in the night) The gym is spacious and well equipped. The biggest let down was the breakfast, we ordered from the A La Carte menu, food was cold, eggs and toast were solid, seemed like it had been prepared 2 hours previous! Another guest had 3 attempts at ordering a dish from the menu, none of them had arrived when we left the breakfast room. The staff were standing and talking in the centre of the dining room, meanwhile the coffee machine had run out of milk, the tea urn was out of water and tables were not reset ready for guests. We asked for a table to be cleared, the table was wiped with a cloth and that was all, eventually we went and helped ourselves to clean cutlery and napkins. Housekeeping in our bedroom varied from day to day, one day they removed our plastic water bottles (that we still wanted for water to carry with us) some days the water in the fridge was replaced, other days it wasn't, one day we even got two bottles instead of the usual single bottle. One of our key cards was removed from the room, so I used my gym membership card in the electrical switch, this was also removed, now I have to get a new gym card at home!"

"We loved our stay at the Mamaison Andrassy Hotel. We were there for five nights on our first visit to Budapest and were greatly satisfied. The room was spacious with a balcony which made it even better with the open feel. The street was beautiful, the location was phenomenal, walking distance to heroes square and city park, and many other places. It was also right next to the metro station for easy access to other areas. The staff was very helpful the entire time. Daniel at the front desk was super friendly and so helpful, Monica at the restaurant was so sweet, and Jennifer the bartender was wonderful and went above and beyond every time we needed something, needed suggestions, etc. She had a wonderful attitude and was so friendly. The whole staff was great. Thank you for a wonderful stay! 😊"
