We booked the Cottage, the stand alone small 3bd/1ba bungalow next to the motel. It is the perfect location with only steps to the beach and restaurants. There is a separate sunroom that has fans/ac, small kitchen with appliances for cooking, each room has a tv/ac, and full 3 bedrooms. The back of the cottage has a small rinse off shower and the motel has a good size pool. A great perk is 2 dedicated parking spots right next to the cottage.

Love this place, we even went down to Kure Beach to find a different place to stay because my husband got a 22 foot boat so we needed a place to park it, well to find out the seabird has a place so he can park his boat so we are not going anywhere, it's a great place to stay

Our room had no conditioner it was another soap, no ice trays, a breaker was tripped by another guest causing electricity issues for a few hrs til maintenance got it resolved, no do no disturb signs to post on doors. Bed was comfortable, bathroom clean, room clean, communication with staff was good. Property was relatively close to the beach (just a few minutes walk). Definitely recommend the seabirds at KB

Parking was a little confusing. We couldn’t find the designated parking spaces. But the staff was very helpful and kind. There is no working AC in the living room so it got pretty hot in the day and took a while to cool down in the evenings. But overall it was a great stay. Great location. Our family enjoyed themselves.

Motel price, hotel nice!!! Room for 6, very clean, nicely styled with very large screen Samsung TV. Super convenient larger than normal fridge, excellent for family. Full sized sink with dining and drink wear. I didn’t realize it was self check in, but it was super easy to figure out and do. Great location, with store and burger house a few doors down. Would stay here again for a longer stay.

We did have an issue with what we suspect were bed bugs. We think they were mainly in the couch. My husband fell asleep on the couch and the next day his lower legs and arms were covered in bites. That was not fun and we have had to treat our luggage and cloths. We did inform the management and they thanked us ab assured us they would inform housekeeping. Other than that the room was very clean and the staff were very nice .

Room was clean, everything we needed was provided and they even let us check out an hour late since it wasn't busy and didn't charge anything. It was a little too cold for beach activities, but honestly it's in a perfect walkable area when the season is right. The bed was SUPER comfortable and we got a fantastic night's sleep!

We loved our wknd stay at Seabirds. The rooms were so clean the bed was comfortable & very up to date. They are dog friendly & our pups loved it. We will definitely stay again! It's is within walking distant to my fave place in the world, the Kure Beach Pier & that is why I love this place.
