Above all, the breakfast was delicious and clean. The staff was friendly. I don't speak Chinese, but they did their best for me. I recommend it especially for those who arrive at Kunming Airport at night. Bed was very comfortable, loved that they had windows that could actually open so we could get fresh air. Only reason I didn’t put excellent for more categories is because one day of our multi day stay, they did a less than stellar job on cleaning up and didnt refill our coffee stash. The closest subway station was in a convenient location - close to the airport and other scenic places I visited. The breakfast buffet was great and the gym was also very nice - had most of the equipment I needed for my workouts. I used the laundry facilities, which was also very easy to use. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. I needed a translator for a matter and they helped resolve the issue. It’s a very nice hotel, with reasonable rates. My main disappointment was that it is an American hotel, and not one person speaks any English, even at the front desk. The location is sort of hard to find and get to as well, and confusing how it is mixed down with apartments, using the same elevator.
