The Ukena holiday rental is located on the ground floor of the historic Harlem House in the heart of Greetsiel—a historic landmark dating from the late 18th century that was built on the foundations of the former Greetsiel Castle. The centrepiece of the apartment is the spacious, stately living and dining room. High ceilings, large historic windows spanning nearly the entire length of the room, and an extraordinary abundance of light characterise this space. The apartment is furnished with original, historically preserved pieces: solid wood cabinets, large tables, and stylish chairs lend the space a stately, dignified atmosphere—open, serene, and bathed in light.

The separate kitchen provides a deliberate contrast: modern, new, and fully equipped, with its own dining area. It offers contemporary comfort without detracting from the apartment’s historic character.

Another highlight is the exceptionally large bathroom with a walk-in shower and double sinks, which offers plenty of space and comfort—ideal even for extended stays.

The bedrooms are arranged side by side. From the living and dining room, you first enter a smaller bedroom with a bed approximately 120 cm wide. From there, the path leads to the master bedroom with a 160-cm-wide double bed and an additional double vanity. The manor house features three separate holiday apartments with a total of 11 sleeping accommodation. The complex is complemented by the neighbouring coach house, which features two additional apartments and a total of 5 beds.
