During our stay, we spent time in Steamboat Springs, visited Dumont Lake twice and our 4 month old puppy took his first swim in a lake there. While visiting Fish Creek Falls we got to see a mother moose and her 2 very large calves. They were about 20 feet off the trail in dense trees eating leaves and never saw us. The bath is functional and well-maintained. The kitchen area has basics to prepare all your meals there. There is space for two but I wouldn’t have wanted to try to squeeze in a third. We kept a lot of our things in our truck to give us room to move around inside. We didn’t use the common area “Hitching Post” but the guest next door seemed to enjoy it. The cabins are pretty close together so we were closer to our neighbors than we expected but it didn’t cause any issues with noise.
