"Start at the beginning, 5 minute drive from the airport although you wouldn't know it when you arrive, you get an incredible view of the planes landing but they are far enough away that you really can barely hear them (something I had considered when booking, needn't have worried).What 3 words is a fantastic tool for finding your way there as it would be easy to miss the tiny driveway. John was there to meet us and give us all the information we needed about the villa and the surroundings, he really is a mine of information and nothing is too much trouble. Villa Flora has everything you could ever need for a perfect holiday, the kitchen is well equipped, every bedroom has an en -suite shower room, comfortable living area, an abundance of outdoor seating and dining options and balconies to admire the absolutely stunning vista, especially at sunset. The welcome package of essential treats including milk, bread, eggs, cheese, honey,wine,beer and more was a lovely touch and meant we didn't have to go find groceries straight after a long day travelling. The pool, gardens and surrounding areas are beautifully presented and perfectly clean. Pool guys pop in twice weekly and are very unobtrusive. Plenty of options for a stroll in the surrounding lush countryside. Short drive or an ambitious walk to local shop, bakery and plenty of excellent options for eating out, again trust John for his recommendations. Absolutely would love to come back, maybe next year. "We had a lovely stay at Liberatos Village. We stayed in an apartment with a kitchenette, which was a great choice. It seemed reasonably new compared with other parts of the hotel and was very clean and comfortable, with one of the best showers we've ever had at any Greek accommodation! The hotel is sprawled across a large area, and our room was quite a walk from the reception and pool area, but we appreciated the privacy this afforded. Lassi is a small but very pleasant resort, with many nice tavernas and easy transport links to nearby Argostoli. Please note that it is very hilly! We had not fully appreciated how steep a hill the hotel was on, which made the walk down to the main street and back up again each time rather daunting. Many people took a taxi up the hill, which cost EUR 8 each time, but we preferred to brave the walk - we certainly came home fitter than when we arrived! We were rewarded at the top by the stunning views. We must also thank Liberatos Village for putting us up for an extra night after our 8.30pm flight home was grounded at the last minute. They were very kind and accommodating during these difficult circumstances and we really appreciated it."
