"This was a beautiful hotel and the location is excellent. The property is in the main central location close to Liroux port and above the central square. Everything in the unit was new and it was so clean and elegant. The shower was perfect and the layout of the unit was great. "The apartment is in a very central position in Lixouri. Ideal for the square, the ferry and all that Lixouri has to offer. The apartment was clean when we arrived, was cleaned once during our stay - perfect for us. It is well refurbished and had all the amenities we needed and as described. We had good sleeps (apart from the church bells on Sunday morning but this is to be expected in any Greek town). Good bed and pillows. Excellent blinds to keep it dark. "Seriously, what can I say? Fabulous hotel with a beautiful location and amazing staff. we stayed for 10 nights in a sea view room, gorgeous view and great to sit on the balcony in the morning and evening , we had amazing breakfast every morning with wonderful, helpful staff, after 2 days they knew our coffee order without asking. All of the staff were lovely and so helpful. The reception staff , Angelika, Cassandra and Georgia were second to none. very informative and we were always greeted with a smile. There needs to be a special mention to Georgia. We discussed our day with her every evening, she gave us great recommendations for restaurants. We have left making a new friend in Kefalonia. She made everyone feel noticed. Thank you Grand Hotel , we will be back for sure ."

"This is a beautiful property with an owner who will help you with anything she can. The rooms are comfortable with balcony to sit and hang laundry as needed. Aspasia arranged for a dry cleaner in town to do our laundry and was ready for pick up the next day. So helpful. Lixouri is a lovely village with many good restaurants. Our breakfast was freshly prepared and served each morning. I highly recommend this lovely place to stay while on Kefalonia."
