This is what a boutique hotel should be. Our room was very small but comfortable. I saw the other rooms and they were bigger and more like conventional hotel rooms. But none of that mattered because when we walked in we were greeted by Ms. Nastaran and her smile and demeanor was essential to our enjoyment. The Food was fantastic. The decorations were unique and beautifully done. Location was within walking distance of several museums, shopping centers and very good restaurants (we recommend eating in the hotel). Parking was on an affiliate lot which was safe and conveniently less than a minute walk. Highly recommend this place.

This hotel is in a very convenient location and close to everything specially the Mevlana Museum. I had a standard room which was quite small but clean and functional.

We booked the Araf hotel for two nights. When we arrived there for check-in, the receptionist told us that there was some issue with the water supply at the hotel and offered us to stay in another nearby hotel (Think Hotel) in a similar room setting. Since it was evening and was difficult to refuse the offer at that time. The receptionist took us to that hotel, Think Hotel, (just 2-3 minutes walk from the Araf hotel) and helped in check in. Surprising, the reception and the location of that Think Hotel were better than that of the Araf hotel. Rooms and toilet were clean with all amenities. Breakfast was typical Turkish and good. Hotel staff was very friendly and supportive. I recommend you to consider Think Hotel for your future stay if you are traveling to Konya.

We had no sleep. The phone was ringing. Reception told us to take our plug. Couldn’t. Then it stopped. Started at 1am. No sleep as we couldn’t get back to sleep.

This hotel was very nice, in a great location. The only drawback is that the area where breakfast is served is quite small, plus they don't serve it till 8 am and the selection is a bit limited.

The most beautiful and eclectic boutique hotel, meer footsteps away from the Mevlana Museum. Our room was comfortable and so stunning. The decor, the finishes in the bathroo, the furniture... its all so beautiful. The staff and owner are so friendly, accommodating and hospitable. The breakfast was better than other turkish hotels I've been in, simple, yet so tastefully presented. Everything about our stay was stunning! Thank you Omar and Araf team. We loved staying at your special class hotel. We will be Inshā’Allah.

It the best place to stay in Konya. The owner Omar is delightful to talk too and extremely helpful in guiding on the special spots to visit. He has developed an amazing gem in heart of Maulana's City. Home away from home!

We booked Araf Hotel, but the room was under renovation so they asked us to stay at Think Hotel instead (very close to Araf and I believe under same management). Think Hotel is new, our room was nice and clean as well. Good service and communication from Hotel contact was quick to accommodate us. Great location and walkable distance to many of Konya's attractions. Just a couple of minor issues: AC in our room was not working properly and it was hot, so we did not get a good sleep. Hotel was unable to provide us with a kettle upon request. Overall good stay, I would stay here again.

This property was at a great location (right next to Rumi) and was very warm and welcoming. It's small and cozy, well worth the price. As someone who's been travelling all over Turkey, this hotel was one of the more pleasant stays. My only critique would be that the breakfast is very light (traditional Turkish breakfast minus the eggs). Staff was wonderful.

Absolutely fabulous
Awesome place. As soon as you enter you get that warm, inviting feeling. Aroma of this hotel absolutely beautiful. Staff are friendly and always there to assist you. The deco of this hotel is fantastic. Breakfast is one of the best in turkey I would say. It’s our regular hotel everytime we come to Konya. Mevlana Rumi is 5 minutes walk from this hotel.

Gem of a hotel in excellent location
What an amazing little hotel, welcoming from the moment you step through their doors into the unusual interior. Everything you see from pictures to rugs or cushions is for sale. Amazing breakfast with best cheese omelette I ever ate, lovely staff who sorted out our travel requirements, nothing was too much trouble. Loved this hotel and would definitely stay here again. Room a bit compact but small price to pay to experience staying here. Walkable to everything.

We loved everything about Araf hotel. The colorful and vintage decor of the hotel adds charm to the super hospitality we received. The hotel staff Hassan and Fayeza greeted us with so much warmth and care. Fayeza made a great breakfast with generous amount for every guest and Hassan was on his feet attending to everyone's requests. All other staff whose names we do not remember were also very kind. We found a deep sense of peace surrounding the hotel atmosphere. Needless to say that if we revisit Konya, we will look for no other hotel to reside other than this magical Araf hotel, full of grace, warmth and charm.

Awesome stay in Konya!
Wow wow...Beautiful decorated small chic boutique hotel. Staff are excellent. The ower Omar and his Wife Zayneb are so welcoming. Will go that extra out for their hotel guest.Breakfast was the best i have had in Turkey. The omelette was exceptionally tasty. Walking distance to Mevlana's tomb and the restaurant.
