Unverschämt, dass Sie es wagen eine solche Bewertung zu schreiben.... Sie reisen mitten in der Nacht an, räumen unser Zimmer aus (Diebstahl!) und reisen nachts wieder ab ohne zu bezahlen. Eine Buchung aus Mexiko, ein finnischer Ausweis, brasilianische Telefonnummer und Kreditkarte aus den USA.... BETRUG Outrageous that you dare to write such a review .... You arrived in the middle of the night, cleared our room (theft!) And left at night without paying. A reservation from Mexico, a Finnish ID card, Brazilian phone number and credit card from the USA .... SCAM

We enjoyed our time at this comfortable hotel, situated in a quiet area, yet located close enough to the excitement of the lake. The food at the restaurant is good, both for breakfast and dinner, and you can even catch a glimpse of the lake from the patio. The wifi worked great at the restaurant, but we had no luck getting any connection in our rooms, a frustration in an otherwise nice stay.

Found beds hard but this is personal and only one soft pillow with no extra ones stored in wardrobe like most Hotels! On mentioning it on check out we could have asked at the restaurant for extra pillows but as reception was closed up with shutters when we returned that evening we didn’t know this!

Nice hotel close to town and nice view
Would definitely stay again. Staff in hotel and restaurant were all very friendly and accommodating. Nice location and very quiet - liked the room and the décor. Everything was in great condition and well kept and clean. Food was excellent in the restaurant and the breakfast that was included was delicious and had many choices in the buffet.

Thanks for rating our hotel. We do not hide our location. We are a hotel in the suburbs. Directly at the island of "Mainau". No city-hotel. Therefore, it's a pity that you deduct us points.

Backpackers hotel
It's a backpacking property. Suitable for people for whom room/style is not important. Bathroom fixtures very rudimentary - water all over the floor. Tedious to mop the floor constantly. No bug screens or fans. Rooms we had had a kitchenette which we were told no longer are operational. Overall middle of the road.

New wing of the hotel
We stayed in the new wing of the hotel. The room is very new and really decent brand new bathroom. Bed quite comfy but pillow very limp. We had no AC in the room and it was quite hot outside. We couldn't open the window either as we are situated on the ground floor next to a water feature which is attracting a lot of mosquitoes. Nonetheless, I would stay here again.

Great spa
Obviously designed for the summer crowd, this place still was just what we needed on a rainy, foggy late winter's day at Lake Konstanz. Friendly enough staff, lovely facility, great breakfast (included) and a very low price. Balcony view of the full moon included at no extra cost. I would definitely return.

Great hotel!! Its full of light, super(!) clean, modern and very comfortable! Rooms are full of storage, bathrooms are nice, clean and simply new!Their bath towels are true to SPA resort quality. Everything in this hotel looks just like it opens its doors yesterday! The elevator is something from sci fi movie :). Next door restaurant is GREAT! The food is awesome the ambiance is unforgettable! BTW your breakfast is going to be served in the same restaurant:) Come over a little bit early and you will have this full of natural light open room with magnificent with to the water just for yourself....the sound and smell from the wood stove are super relaxing.

Nice quiet retreat with AWESOME spa.
Very nice, new, and clean hotel. Shower was all glass and basically in the bedroom, which is great for some occasions, but not so ideal when you’re traveling with your father and grandmother! Overall, it was a great hotel, and will definitely be where I come when I visit next time!

Auch im Winter...
eine Reise wert! Tolle Lage und Aussicht, prima Frühstück mit perfektem Service, gute Ausstattung, ausreichend Platz im Zimmer, sonstige Infrastruktur wegen Zeitmangel leider nicht genutzt, sieht aber toll aus!

Schönes Hotel mit guter Küche nahe Insel Mainau
wir haben den Aufenthalt im Hotel Volapük sehr genossen! Wir waren zwei Mal in der schönen Sauna, mieteten einmal Fahrräder direkt im Hotel. Es hat eine Tiefgarage, ist nahe an der Insel Mainau gelegen und als Hotelgast darf man gratis Bus fahren... Das Personal war sehr freundlich, das Zimmer gut und das Frühstück lecker!

Sehr schönes Hotel in eine Ruhiger Lage
Hübsches Hotel in eine Ruhiger Lage, aber doch Zentrumnah. Das Personal sehr Freundlich und Kompetent. Das Angebot vom Frühstück sehr groß, für jeden Geschmack was dabei. Kinderfreundlich. Wir waren zum ersten Mal dort und kommen wieder gerne. Man kann nur weiter Empfällen.

sehr sauberes Zimmer, top Restaurant
das Einchecken war problemlos und freundlich, obwohl wir erst nach 17 Uhr eintrafen. Das Zimmer war geheizt und wohlig warm als wir eintrafen, alles war sehr sauber! Das Abendessen im Restaurant war spitze und ein echter Genuss! Alles sehr zu empfehlen!!!

Mainau
Frukosten var bra men äggen var mycket hårdkokta. Maten och sängarna var ok. Det negativa var glasrutan i toaletten samt att handfatet för att tvätta händerna var utanför. Mainau var en besvikelse men detta kan bero på att vi sett andra mycket finare blomsterträdgårdar. Ps fjärilsparken var bra.
