We stayed in a large basement unit. It had a mini kitchenette. We also got to use the saunas that were available to reserve for an hour a day. It was a pleasant surprise to be have a whole other area for relaxation. Loved the washer/dryer combo in the unit.

Perfect place to stay if you’re headed to Universal Japan! Literally right outside the front gates with plenty of food options around plus it’s right next to the subway if you wish to venture into Osaka. Hotel beds are a bit hard but not too bad.

Welcoming and clean but not uptight. Great location for exploring Kyoto, it’s close enough to busses and trains for a quick walk, but far enough away from the stations to not be too crowded. The courtyard is charming and all the staff were very helpful.

The rooms where amazing. I wish our hotel in Tokyo was half as good. Kyoto was overall disappointing. Too much tourism. Everything overpriced. For instance the subway was almost double the cost of Tokyo and not as nice or accessible. The historical areas were wonderful but hard to get to and overcrowded at all hours. Having a beautiful hotel mde it ten times more bearable.
