エントランスからの海の風景が素敵なホテル。

日本語は皆無ながらも、ホスピタリティの質が高く困ることはなかった。レストランも近くに困らない程度にはあり、コンビニへも2分。チャウエンの中心地にはtaxiで200バーツ。ものすごく暑かったけど、人も少なくてのんびり。ただ、ホテル前の海は汚なさMAXでビックリ。でも左側に300m位歩くと綺麗な海があります。遠浅なので泳ぐという感じではありません。そして、海水は温泉並みの熱さ‼本当にお湯でした。 ホテル7時発で島へのツアーに申し込んだので、6時半からの朝食ビュッフェに時間ぴったりにいったら、まだ何も準備されていなかった(ToT)。部屋のシャワーの水圧がいまひとつ!残念だったのはそのくらい。 日本人に会うことはなく、欧米人、中国人、韓国人がほとんど。あと、バーツへの両替は絶対にサムイ島内の両替店ですべき。山ほどあります。日本で替えてしまうと、かなり損です!

Small hotel and kind of disappointing

Location: Location wise is good, restaurants and bars close by.
After reading all the reviews on trip advisor, I had a high hope for this hotel, but I think this hotel is at best a 4-star hotel, the hotel on its own is small, with small pool, lobby and restaurants. The hotel room despite already staying in the pool villa suite, is small and badly maintained, water keep dripping on one desk which almost hit my laptop. Before arrival, I constantly requested for a pool villa facing the ocean side, and the manager has said she would put in a request, but upon arrival, we didn't get the as requested room and no one explained to us if the room was unavailable or for what reason that we didn't get it. The room is also not very well designed in the beginning, you could see the botched renovation work, with LED strip hanging on wardrobe or cabinet, and housekeeping also didn't do a good job, I felt like one poor chap had to clean a lot of room per day, so one time they left some garbage and a dead insect in our toilet. Generally, a disappointing experience, a more careful screening of reviews are needed next time.

Do NOT stay here

I had paid for a 4 night stay, but due to my experience, I was forced to leave after the second night. My first room was filled with bugs, mosquitos and ants. The hotel's solution was to spray large amounts of bug spray throughout the room, which affected my breathing and did not solve the problem. The hotel first tried to blame the ants on the flowers given to me by the hotel. I was then transferred to another room. I was actually downgraded from an ocean view to a garden view without any reimbursement. Throughout the ENTIRE night I was bitten by mosquitoes. I then addressed this issue with the general manager, Danny, who told me that I should expect mosquitos due to the location of the hotel (even in the actual bedroom). I then return to my room to find that the bathroom was filled with ants. I addressed it with the cleaning staff and they cleaned my room a second time. Again, the hotel staff chose to spray large amounts of bug spray to resolve the issue of mosquitos and bug spray. At this point, I addressed the issue of the room with the general manager, Danny. I advised him that I did not feel comfortable in the room due to the amount of bugs and mosquiotos in the room and that the large amounts of bug spray sprayed in the room affected my breathing. The general manager, Danny, responded that the hotel policy is not give refunds. I then returned to my room to find ants inside my luggage. At this point, I left the hotel and went elsewhere. The hotel refused to reimburse!

Dear Anonymous onExpedia, We thank you for staying with us. However, we wish to clarify the 2 issues mentioned: Ants and Mosquitoes. The Pool villa room we checked you into is one of 4 Pool villas with sea view and those tiny little ants were attracted by the sweet fragrance from the Welcome hand garland which you left in the room. We moved you to another Pool Villa nearby which do not have a sea view but facing garden and lotus pond view instead. Both villa type are of the same price, we did Not downgrade you as you claimed. The next day, you informed our staff about mosquitoes in your room affecting your sleep. We offered to move you to another Pool Villa but you decline. The reason for mosquitoes getting into your bedroom room could be due to the door to the Outdoor Shower or Sliding glass door beside the plunge pool are not properly closed. In the hotel guide book, we remind guest to be careful to close all doors properly as our boutique resort is designed with a garden setting with its flora and fauna attracting insects such as butterflies, bees, ants, mosquitoes, lizards being part of the environment. However we are sorry to hear that you have some inconvenience but those matters were resolve soon after you informed us. Lastly, your caption ‘Do NOT stay here’ is totally unfair to our hotel and uncalled for. We shall leave this to Expedia readers to make their own judgement. Thank you. The Management

Quieter end of Cheywang!

Pros: Day bed staff friendliness!
Cons: Water in front of resort no so clean! Not resorts fault!!!!
Location: Spa shopping restaurants close!
Great breakfast! Nice beach restauant , and spa close bye!

Man checkt ein und fühlt sich direkt wohl. Tolles Resort, das Mer vor der Nase, super Service, Frühstück sehr abwechlngsreich. Und auf der naderen Seite die Straße mit allen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und dem Nachtleben. Super. Einziger kleiner Wehmutstropfen: Momentan sind links und rechts Baustellen, weil neue Hotels gebaut werden. Wir konnten aber auf Grund der Lautstärke direkt in ein anderes Zimmer wechseln und alles war prima. Empfehlenswert, jederzeit wieder.

帰国日が早朝便だったので、ホテルの朝食が食べれない時間でした。ホテル側には何も言ってませんでしたが、チェックアウト時に、テイクアウトボックス入れたサンドイッチと飲み物が用意されていました。サムイ空港で無料の軽食があると確認していたので、朝食のことは気にしてませんでしたが、とても嬉しい気づかいでした。 プールアクセスのプールやバルコニーは午後になると陽があたりません。一日ごろごろするならビーチサイドベッドチェアが良いと思います。

Family Hotel

The hotel is nice for a trip with family. It's a small hotel, nothing special about it, and it doesn't have any real advantages over the other hotels in Chaweng. If you want sea view, you must request for a room at the 3rd floor, all other floors does not have seaview, and it is a shame they write they do. We booked the jacuzzi Seaview room, never really used it, so you can skip that.. The hotel had a big ants problem when we were there and we kept waking up covered with bites, which was really annoying. Hotel's staff were really nice and friendly.
