We booked the Family Triple and lucked out with a fantastic location close to the restaurant, pool, and beach. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, with more than enough room for a couple staying a full week without feeling cramped. One thing to note: there’s a wide variety of room types here. Some are in a motel-style building, while others are superior sea-view rooms. Definitely pay attention when booking so you get the setup you want. The pool isn’t massive, but on a hot Koh Samui afternoon, it feels exactly the right size. The private beach is the real star, though. Plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas, and the Gulf of Thailand water is unbelievably warm and inviting. It’s the kind of place where you mean to swim for five minutes and end up floating for an hour. The on-site restaurant was solid, though a bit pricier than nearby spots. Breakfast isn’t included, which would have been nice, but it wasn’t a dealbreaker. Having massage services right on site was a huge plus, and prices were very competitive compared to the local shops. Overall, this is a great beachfront option in a quieter part of Lamai. HOWEVER. The location of the hotel was fantastic. Our minds quickly changed from “we hate it” to “best value for money” as we paid <£35 a night. The pool was great, they offered free snorkelling kit and games for beach activities. I’d recommend this place for a “cheap stay!”. Staff were very friendly as a bonus and we rented a bike from the hotel for 200 THB a day.
