Great buffet breakfast featuring specialty foods of Kochi. All the staff here provided exceptional service. Domo Arigato to Yuko who went above and beyond every day in assisting with our Kochi City touring plans. The staff was extremely polite and responsive to all our inquiries and requests. Our room was traditional Japanese style, a bit dated but well maintained. The breakfast buffet had a wonderful variety of Japanese and Western style dishes, all very delicious. They were patient and kind wuth us as we used a translation app to bridge our language barrier. The room was clean and well maintained. Very good service. We had a half board option, including breakfast and dinner. Breakfast is a buffet, combining Japanese, western food and local produce. Dinner is a typical Japanese Kaiseki meal. If you don't know Japanese food very well you may find it difficult, but if you know it, you can enjoy everything. If you like onsen style bathing (not natural onsen), you can enjoy at the top of the building. It also has a sauna and outside hot bath as well. I really enjoyed staying. I have stayed in many hotels & ryokans in Japan and even in the Kochi area, and all of them offered a much superior experience, with a larger room, better staff and meals for a lower price.
