"The Kerala breakfast was excellent. Joseph and Elizabeth are very welcoming and friendly, and did everything and more to make the stay an excellent one. They are lovely people to talk to."
"Sonnetta Residency is a homestay located in the heart of Fort Kochi district in Princess St. It is in easy walking distance to the foreshore and Chinese nets as well as the ferry service. Breakfast is included in the price but other meals are unavailable, however there are many very good and reasonably priced restaurants in walking distance in Princess St, Rose St and others. It was nice to be able to try so many. I suggest A/C room as it can get quite hot. The owner and staff are very friendly...
"Perfectly situated in Fort Kochi - Judy is the perfect hostess - a radiant woman with a big smile, and a genuine personality - she makes a great breakfast with plenty of local coffee to your desired strength - entitled colonialists are not welcome - if you are an open and spiritual person with your heart in the right place, you will be - and that is the way it should be - all the sites are close by within a minute or two to walk, and the best restaurants too - Judy’s wi-fi is high speed and she...
"This is a great homestay. The place is clean, walking distance to the sights in Fort Cochin, budget food options, and the local bus to/from the airport. The owners are welcoming and happy to help. The neighbourhood is local, friendly, and safe to walk around day or night. The wifi works, even in the room. There is a nice rooftop to lounging around. This place is a great option. "

"It was a quaint little place with very friendly staff. The restaurant was covered but had no walls / no AC. Also, they do not have a liquor license so they do not serve."
"Amazing welcome by Bernard. Warm, friendly and genuine. I booked a small, cheap room and was upgraded to a larger, more superior room at no extra cost. Bed was super comfortable. Bernard was so helpful - giving information on the are; booking taxi. Would certainly stay at Dream Catcher again when back in the area. "
"Nice food, beautiful rooms and location (Right by the shore, you can see Dolphins out in the sea in the morning) and the staff are great too! If you are staying in Cochin, stay here!"
"Our 5 th stay over the last 8 years at Sealine. It was monsoon time so seas too rough for swimming.
The chef is excellent, always freshly made, is good value and the pineapple juice is wonderful at breakfast.
The manager is very helpful arranging taxis. And toktuks as required . The area has changed quite a bit on the last couple of years with more hotels, cafes even a locally made chocolate shop within 10 minutes walking distance ."

"I spent my last night in India at the Malabar House in Fort Kochi and it was quite the treat. I was upgraded to the Garden suite and the room was stunning from the fixtures to the artwork. The staff was friendly, helpful, and efficient. The food was fantastic! The hotel is ideally located just a block or two inland from the harbor and the fishing nets. Gorgeous property. "
"I spent only two nights at Fort House and wished I could have stayed longer! It is located on the edge of Fort Kochi's central area, it is an oasis but still within walking distance--and there is no shortage of tuk-tuks. They are working on the road, but don't let that dissuade you--the inner courtyard garden is beautiful and the outdoor dining areas are lovely. It sits on the straight between the sea and the backwater, so I had breakfast with the birds--so peaceful. And the breakfast was among the best on my trip. The room was large and nicely decorated. The staff was plentiful and friendly and requests were met almost immediately. I will, without a doubt, stay at Fort House again when in Kochi! "
