The pool was even better than the pictures, the bungalows were spacious and clean. Bed a little hard, but as normal in Thialand. The accommodation was really well situated, with 2 min walk to the beach and plenty of cool places to eat. The grounds were tidy, lots of butterflys. And the cold drinks were lovely by the pool. De ansatte er stille og rolige. De som jobber i restauranten snakker/forstår veldig lite engelsk. Men de ordner opp. Kjører til butikken for å kjøpe varer når vi har bestilt noe de ikke har inne fra før. Kom med tykkere madrass til sengen når vi ba om det. Madrassen var steinhard og jeg har knekt ribbein, dårlig kombo. Dusj og toalett er ute, men under tak og vegger, synes det var deilig å for en gang skyld slippe å se på romkameraten fra do 😆 Bungalowen er stor og fin. Tror alle er like. Bassenget er rent og solstolene har behagelige matter. Vaktmesteren jobber på som bare det, Hagen er derfor fin. Det løper høner og haner rundt her hele tiden. Veldig koselig, de lager litt bråk, men er bare døds kule. Moskeen ligger i nærheten. Den høres ute ved bassenget, men ikke på rommet. Aercondition fungerer nesten ikke. Veldig varmt på rommet og den bråker verre enn verst. Har sagt ifra, men tror ikke de skjønte hva vi mente. Veldig god og billig mat på hotellet, spesielt stekt skampi med hvitløk... OMG det var digg!!! De vasker ok og rer opp sengen hver dag om du setter ut skilt. Gå over veien og du er på stranda. Stranda er super fin. Hver kveld kommer stoler, bord, sakkosekker, levende lys, flammeshow ved stranda. Super koselig! Skulle være her 2 netter, men ble 5\. Leide scooter og fartet rundt. Hyggelig i gamlebyen. Tok båttur med speedboat til fire øyer, helt fantastisk! ![Herlig basseng. Dusj med rent vann rett bak han her. Det er et muslimsk hotel - næsten alle er muslimer. We had a lovely bungalow with a semi open air bathroom which was wonderful! We also had a resident Lizard in our room who we named Leonard and it was lovely to be so close to nature! Beautiful pool and good amount of sun loungers, housekeeping did a fantastic job and beach towels were provided too plus complimentary toiletries. The breakfast provided ticked all the boxes. Thelr Strawberry shakes are divine. Situated in Klong Nin its right opposite the beach and well placed to explore the island from. The room was big and clean, but did not get cleaned during our stay, some fresh towels would have been nice. At check in, the lady didn’t seem to know what she was doing, and the staff in general were not friendly or approachable. Every morning at 5am a call to prayer could be heard from the room along with crying children and animals, so to some up it was loud in the morning! Stayed in bungalow only one type. Cleaned every day with fresh towels & beach towels. The breakfast was o.kay. Juice, Coffee, Fruit, Toast & Jam & scambled eggs. The staff were friendly but little english, we got by o.kay. As for selling no alchol right opposite 2 beachfront bars come hotels. Hotel food off their menu was o.kay, had a few meals and enjoyed. Pool was allright never busy needs a bit of a clean. Klon Nin is a laid back place so don\`t expect 5 star. Nearly all the bars come restaurants are on the beach all made of wood & bamboo basic but really relaxing. Spent Xmas & New Year there had a ball. Breakfast is not included but is available for purchase a la carte, you would pay about 300 BHT for 2 breakfasts (omelet, toast & coffee/tea) and the food is tasty with good size portions. Since this is a muslim ran hotel they serve halal food and the girls are very helpful. The place itself does need some maintenance and can be upgraded with basic work. Bungalow door locks are a bit loose and you get the feeling that just with a strong push you can crack the door open. TV does not work at all…we tried doing some channel screening but we could not find 1 single working channel so keep this in mind if you are counting on it. A/C works pretty well and refreshes the whole room (we had a bungalow) They will not come into the room for housekeeping unless you instruct them so that was nice, especially if you read stories about stolen items in Thai hotels(I have to say that I stayed in 4 different hotels and I did not have 1 single issue on this matter). About the pool, it is true that it sometimes turn greenish, is because it seems that they don’t have the filter running constantly, so the water will turn green every couple of days until they turn it on. You can purchase trips and rent a scooter in their front desk…make sure you ask for a discount, they should give you a good one on tours (not scooter rental). ##### Daniel Stayed 5 nights in Mar 2018 ### 8/10 Good #### Verified traveller 12 Mar 2018 Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, room comfort #### Schöne große Bungalows Schöne, gepflegte Anlage, die Bungalows sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen, macht aber überhaupt nichts, weil man ja eigentlich nur zum schlafen drinnen ist. Wir haben den Bungalow mit offener Dusche/WC gebucht und es war hervorragend. Wenn ich wieder auf Koh Lanta Urlaub mache, buche ich wieder hier! Man sollte sich nicht vor Geckos ekeln, da die halt auch gerne mal im Zimmer sind. Wir haben ohne Frühstück gebucht und machten uns immer ein kleines Frühstück auf unserer Terrasse (Wasserkocher im Zimmer). Strom gabs nur, wenn man die Karte in das entsprechende Fach gesteckt hat. Diese Karte hing als Anhänger mit dem Schlüssel zusammen. Wir haben es nicht genutzt, aber ich glaube, wenn wir Karte und Schlüssel getrennt hätten und die Karte im Zimmer einfach stecken gelassen hätten, wäre der Strom weitergelaufen und somit der Kühlschrank kühl geblieben. Ich fand auch die Mädels an der Rezeption lustig, unkompliziert, freundlich und hilfsbereit.
