Wonderful place to watch sunsets from the bar. The beach is small. The sunbeds were not the most comfortable but lovely setting.

Big rooms, clean but dated. It’s beach front but not beach you’d swim on. Would need scooter to access decent beach (but normal on island). Best feature is it has a great bar Sound wave as a part of restort. Great sunset vibe

Great place to stay

We stayed for 9 nights over Christmas and new year and had a lovely time. It was our first time to Thailand and won’t be our last. We had our 2 boys aged 15 and 12 with us and had a family room near the pool It was lovely and quiet apart from some banging doors in the middle of the night from the room above on 2 nights. The room was very spacious With a huge double bed and bunk beds. The shower room was good too. The staff were mostly really friendly and helpful and the Thai meals were delicious. Can’t comment on the western meals as we didn’t have them. The mango juice is delicious too. And the cocktails were good too! The pool was very refreshing - pick your sun lounger carefully to maximise the shade! You can also sit overlooking the sea - great for sunsets. There’s aThai massage place by the pool too which was lovely. And 3 raised areas with hammocks as well. Not much evening entertainment other than the fire show twice a week which our kids loved (and took part in!). Good central location on the island and you can hire scooters from there really cheaply. We ate at some local restaurants - we particularly liked Jimmy’s and The Garden We also did excursions out to the 4 islands, the rainforest walk and beach, and kayaking in the mangroves, all arranged through the hotel. We’d definitely recommend this place - very relaxing.

Kanonläge! Nära stranden men dock stenigt vid lågvatten men man kan snirkla sig ut så man kommer i havet ändå, supervarmt vatten när stenarna värmt upp. Kan tycka att det inte är barnvänligt eftersom man inte kan bada i havet hela dagarna. Superbra mat i restaurangen men inte säkert de har kött den dag du vill äta det! Perfekt städning, bra aircondition o toapappret inga problem heller, bara be om mer.

A wonderful getaway!

The Blue Andaman was my first stay in Ko Lanta. I have since explored several other hotels and beaches but will be headed back to the Blue Andaman. I stayed in the pool\beach bungalow #2 which is a few feet from the pool and from my porch (and even the bed) the ocean view is stunning. The restaurant is located right next to the ocean and the sunsets are gorgeous. For convenience there is a 7-11 a couple blocks away. Also, Danny's restaurant is close by for a wide range of inexpensive, yet delicious Thai cuisine. The staff at the Blue Andaman are quiet and efficient and arranged for snorkeling trips and tranfers. The maid service was outstanding with as little or as much service desired. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

This resort is very nice. The property is extremely well taken care of. Our room was exactly what we expected for the price. Newly renovated bathroom. The pool and surrounding area was inviting. Hammock’s hanging for your enjoyment. The bar was awesome. Atmosphere was excellent. Drinks were really good and the sunset was extraordinary. The people who ran the bar were very nice and went out of there way for there guests. This is by no means a 5 star resort, but still you feel like it could be. I would absolutely recommend this place. 🇨🇦

Overall this facility exceeded our expectations for the price. Our bungalow was very clean and seemed to be recently renovated. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful especially when booking shuttles and renting scooters. Food was reasonably priced and the Thai food was delicious. The only issues we had were with water pressure for our sink and shower. At one point our bathroom water did not turn on for 10 minutes. The room cleaner also accidently left our door open after a cleaning. We think the curtain may have gotten caught in the door when it was being closed and left the door ajar.

Rummet var litet och ofräscht. Inte bra städat. Hotellområdet var däremot ganska mysigt och hade ett trevligt poolområde. Stranden var väldigt liten och mycket stenar på stranden/i havet, så bor man här är det poolen som gäller. Helt okej frukost och restaurang. Rekommenderas inte för er som vill ha en härlig semester med er partner. Finns andra ställen och stränder som är mycket bättre.

Perusmesta, ihan ok. Lähistöllä muutama ravintola. Hotellin ravintolassa ok ruuat maltilliseen hintaan. Meressä uiminen oli laskuveden aikaan liki mahdotonta, nousuveden aikaan hyvä, myös uima-allas oli hyvä. Omasta mielesta standard huone oli turhan vaatimaton, kandee ottaa pykälää parempi huone. Siivous joka toinen päivä, paitsi pyydettäessä joka päivä. Aamupala oli melko huono..kaikki mauttomat kananmunahässäkät oli kylminä muovisissa leipä(?)koreissa. Toki sai tuoreita vastapaistettuja(mauttomia) munakkaita, kun osasi pyytää ja mainita, ettei halua syödä kylmiä aikaisemmin paistettuja munia. Kokonaisuudessaan palvelu ei ollut normi thaikkulaisen tasoista. Menisinkö uudelleen, ehkäpä en..vaikka ei hotellissa mitään suoranaista vikaa ollut.

Koselig anlegg, frokost noe enkel - fin bar på stedet.Litt mye stein i vannet som ved lavvann gjorde det vanskelig å bade i sjøen. Bra basseng. Badet på familierom var type -veldig enkelt. Litt lite restauranter rett ved, så man må ut og farte litt.

Positifs: belle piscine avec vue sur la mer ainsi que le restaurant. Très jolie plage, eau cristalline avec de beaux poissons. Le parc de l hôtel est bien entretenu avec de très belles plantations. Négatifs: personnel peu souriant voir muet au restaurant. Les chambres sont peu équipées: pas de frigo, une seule serviette par personne, pas de serviette pour sortir de la douche, des oreillers moisis on a dû réclamer 2 fois pour avoir des oreillers corrects. Le petit déjeuner est très moyen, peu de choix.

Okay, Needs Renovating

We stayed in a fan cooled room- so it was really uncomfortably hot when the sun was on the room mid-afternoon, we couldn't stay in our room at all (there was a broken AC attached to the wall) There was duck tape all over the ceiling, chunks missing from the wall, toilet was wonky, there was a constant leak in our bathroom (we still don't know where this was coming from, but it made it smell awful!) Bed on the other hand was really comfortable! Nice pillows and sheets. Pool and restaurant area is what saves this hotel. The pool area, waterfall and seating were really nice, we'd happily spend all day here! Restaurant is really efficient and serves great food- you don't need to leave the complex for another restaurant! Otherwise, it's all a bit run down and could really do with some renovation!

Quality staff and reasonable price

The staff was great! Dtaw (guitar) at the reception was such a wonderful help. She organized a couple of trips and we could not have been happier. The location was a bit isolated, but then again it was a resort. We stayed in a garden bungalow. We rented three of them as we were a family and the closer to the pool the nicer the rooms. Overall, it was a nice stay for 4 nights.

Loved it here

I booked a room but upgraded to a bungalow, it was beautiful. Not a lot of people and not a ton of families :) , more adults and singles ..On a beautiful beach, has a restaurant and bar with happy hour . There’s a pool and cheap massage. 7-11 is right up the street ... I will definitely be back when I return !
