"This property is a couples paradise if your looking for a quiet vacation. Staff is exceptional and every bungalow is positioned for privacy. Great place for rest and relaxation and if you never want to leave the resort, you wont need to. My girl friend and i rented a scooter(moped) from Shantaa and explored the whole island. We only used 1 tank of gas the entire time."

"We stayed at the Me Dee resort for 4 nights in early January in Lodge D16. The Lodge was mediocre. It was clean and the AC was good. The mini fridge is helpful and the beds were comfy. It lacked storage space and was located next to the road, which can be noisy. The shower was absolutely rubbish (terrible pressure), and the lighting in the Bathroom was poor. We managed to get a look of Lodge next door which annoyingly was much nicer! The staff were very friendly and helpful. We ate and got...

" close to the beautiful beach. Unfortunately our bungalow was far away, next fo a scooter parking lot. Room was old and Dirty. Hasn't been cleaned in 5 days. Some of the other rooms looked nicer. Most of the personal was nice. Our welcome tho was quite unfriendly."

"Because was low season they closed the restaurant early, so you had to find other places to eat, which weren't many. But as we seemed to get ill after eating in the restaurant the 1st day wss probably just as well. Room was nice and bed good, there seemed to be a slight problem with the electrics, as ours worked even when the key wasn't in the slot to open the electrics. 😁 "
