"This was a stunning hotel and after reading the reviews it did not disappoint! Unbelievably comfortable bed and breakfast was great. At time of stay hotel guests were allowed free access to the spa between 7-10am. Only downside is that all areas of the spa weren’t open. Overall brilliant stay and right in the middle of Bergen. "

"The receptionist we first saw was a bit surly and not very friendly or helpful but the rest of the staff were lovely. Everything was clean and breakfast was excellent. They were also really helpful when a ring accidentally got washed down a sink and sent a janitor to retrieve it. Overall was excellent and very handy location for the city and public transport."

"Unfortunately a strike was on at the hotels in Norway. Remains Staff did a wonderful job to keep the hotel operating a reduced capability. Breakfast offering greatly reduced with only very small reduction in cost. No room cleaning during our stay but no reduction in room rates. Again great job by staff but hotel could have more appropriately reduced costs to customers based upon reduced offering "
