A rural 1870's farmhouse lower-level apartment, recently renovated. Ideal for a quiet getaway or short-term stay. Our 'slice of country paradise' we like to share with others looking for some peace & quiet away from the hustle & bustle of a busy life.

Located 10 minutes south of Elora-Fergus, 5 minutes north of Guelph, and 20 minutes east of Cambridge, Kitchener-Waterloo, and St Jacobs. Cox Creek Winery is just up the road. Several bike/hike trails nearby. Three golf courses 5 minutes away.

The modern, fresh decor makes for a comfortable and peaceful space. A galley kitchen, king & double bedrooms, spacious living room with stone natural gas fireplace, dining area, and in-suite washer & dryer. It has everything you would need for a relaxing stay.

The Farmhouse Apartment has central air-conditioning and in-floor heating that make it comfortable all year round.

There is a guest 'side-yard' area with an outdoor dining table & chairs and a campfire pit with seating. Firewood & fire starter provided.

We ensure a very clean and comfortable stay. Guest access is keyless entry, through the garage entry door & downstairs. This is a private guest suite. Free guest parking for 2 vehicles

We live on a 130-acre family farm where we grow wheat, corn, and soybeans. We also have a few chickens that roam the farm and our farm cat - Theo (he loves it when guests show him some love, with a head scratch)!

There is no bus route to our farm. Uber and local taxis provide service in the area.

This is a truly unique home away from home...a small house really set on a lovely farm. It's pretty, comfortable, extremely well equipped and maintained...it was a joy to stay here and we will surely come again.

Exactly as I expected and as described in the listing. Bed was very comfortable and we slept very well. Didn’t have time to use the kitchen much as we were vey busy but it appeared to have everything you need.

I had a really great stay. The host was brilliant and responsive and allowed me a late check out. The place was lovely. The bed I used on the main floor was very comfortable. I enjoyed the peace and quiet and hanging out with the cat in the garden. Internet, super fast. Totally recommend.

The Barn Shed is a cute place right on a working farm. Main floor and lower level are decorated nicely with lots of room for a couple or small family. Definitely stay here again.
