"This home was almost exactly my dream home! Nestled in the trees with amazing views from every room. The king bed was so comfy, bath easily fit hubby and I and best part was seeing the sunset and stars from the tub! It was super quiet and just what we needed for our break from the city and to connect with nature."

Crestone Basecamp - With Hot Tub!

"Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here. It’s super secluded and great for folks wanting to hit the Sand Dunes or have a few nights away where you can stargaze.The property was well stocked with kitchen supplies, which was a nice touch given how secluded it is — great to have everything you need for cooking and meals. Having full laundry access was a big plus too. The beds were comfortable if you like a firmer mattress.A few things to know before you go: there’s no AC, so bring your own fan if you want one (there are a couple in the bedrooms, but more would help). Nights stay cool in summer, but days can get quite hot. There are also loose dogs next door, so keep that in mind if you have a reactive dog, and watch your step in the backyard — there’s a fair amount of dog poop back there.Overall, a great property, and we’d recommend it."

"I cannot express how absolutely wonderful our stay here was! So clean and comfortable, beautiful house and AMAZING Mountain views, breathtaking stargazing, I could go on and on. Well equipped kitchen and great grill. And above all, the host is amazing. She is so responsive and helpful. We did not want to leave!"
