"Peaceful house, great location and well stocked place. Enough room to place a large dog kennel next to the kitchen table.Neighborhood is really quiet which is exactly what we needed. The crestone book was an interesting read and recommended perusing. Only suggestion is to add a deck of cards, uno, skipbo like games to the collection of games."

"The kitchen was very clean, had everything (microwave, stove, oven, dishes etc. They have a fenced dog yard (small but there with doggy bags). I ended up not bringing my dog but he would have been fine there. The outside in winter other than the very nice deck, doesn't look that great with the yard etc, but inside was wonderful. I was worried about heat, it was very very warm and we ended up not using the wood stoves (two) because the propane heating in the living/kitchen area worked well (we kept it off most of the time). Crestone is small but cute and the restaurant, Food is Art was wonderful and people very friendly. Was disappointed that to get to Great Sand Dunes was over an hour away."

"We really enjoyed our stay. The home was spacious and comfortable. The kitchens and bathrooms were very clean and had everything we needed. Plenty of towels & linens were provided. The furniture and decorations in the home were very cool especially the tin collections. The main town of Crestone was a short walk away where we enjoyed the Elephant Cloud Cafe and enchanting shops. The view of the stars at night was amazing. The Sand Dunes National Park was something to see along with a Hindu temple along the way"

"This amazing log home is a dream mountain getaway! Completely surrounded by beautiful aspen and pine trees, it’s incredibly quiet and relaxing. Being there in later September meant the aspens were changing colors and were more vibrant each morning. The only sounds you’ll hear are the rustling leaves and the babbling creek.Every side of the wraparound deck offers a different view with comfortable Adirondack chairs, porch swings and picnic tables that are perfectly placed. We were also greeted by momma deer and her two babies that came through the property one evening and several other deer wandered through during our stay.The star gazing was absolutely incredible! From both the wraparound deck and the nearby Summit Park in town, we observed the most amazing night sky including the Milky Way!This was also the cleanest Vrbo we’ve ever stayed in by a long shot. The entie house was spotless and the kitchen was pristine and stocked with all the appliances and cookware you could want. From amenities to décor, Vanessa and Shawn have truly thought of everything. It feels like a home away from home."
