Authentisches Bauernhaus mit Aussicht

Schön renoviertes Bauernhaus in ruhigem Tal mit Blick auf Olivenhaine und das Meer. Ausstattung ist ok mit kleinen Schwächen (die Matratze ist wackelig, so dass man geschüttelt wird, wenn der Partner sich umdreht, der Toaster ist etwas fummelig und sollte nicht unbeobachtet betrieben werden). Giannis ist sehr nett und hat uns sogar einmal einen sehr leckeren Auflauf von seiner Mutter gebracht. Man fühlt sich daher sofort wohl. Abends kann man gut auf der Terrasse. ausspannen. Die Lage ist ideal um die Sehenswürdigkeiten im Westen Kretas zu erreichen (für 50 km braucht man hier über eine Stunde Fahrzeit!). Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und können das Domizil empfehlen.

Little paradise

Very nice little house lost in olive trees. Giannis is a very nice host, very helpful. The house is clean, you will everything you need, surounded by the silence of the landscape. The welcome is very warm: fruits, olive oil, create bread and other specialities, raki. We recommand this place without any restriction!

Tamed Wilderness

If you love nature, this is the place for you. Amidst olive groves you have a spectacular view from the terrace of this very well refurbished traditional stone house onto the Kissamos Bay. Endless narrow mountain roads will lead you to secluded places of unique beauty. Or maybe you prefer a good swim in turquoise water at one of the strands that are in immediate nearness. The house is a generous shelter at any time of the day and of the night. You can even sleep outside under the starry sky (at least it was possible during the time when we were there). We felt really welcome , our host and his family showed a lot of care, sometimes it was like being part of the family. Even though it was almost midnight when we arrived, our host was there to welcome us and give us a first introduction to the house and the environment. Very much we appreciated the customs and culture lectures he gave us . If we had questions, the answers came instantly. All in all, it was a great experience for us and we recommend this place without any restrictions. Coming back is a must! Josef and Lisa from Germany

Wunderschönes Haus

Giannis, unser Gastgeber, hat sich hervorragend um uns gekümmert und uns somit 2 sehr angenehme und entspannende Wochen in dem idyllischen und ruhigen Haus beschert. Ein toller Präsentkorb am Anfang und traditionelle, original griechische Leckerbissen aus seiner Familie haben das ganze abgerundet. Giannias ist sehr freundlich zu seinen Gästen und gleichzeitig unaufdringlich und respektiert die Privatsphäre. Wir würden jederzeit wieder dort Urlaub machen. Ein Auto ist hier jedoch ein Muss. Das Haus ist für alle geeignet, die sich gerne etwas abseits der Touristenmassen halten möchten.

WOW - einfach perfekt

Wir haben noch nie eine so schöne und voll ausgestattete Unterkunft in Griechenland gehabt. Es fehlte an nichts! Lage & Ausblick - einfach traumhaft Wer Natur und Ruhe liebt, ist hier genau richtig. Das Haus - wunderschön Sehr liebevoll restauriert und eingerichtet. Die Ausstattung - perfekt (ob Fliegengitter, Sonnenliege oder auch die alltäglichen Sachen wie Handseife, Klopapier oder Küchenrolle - es war alles in ausreichender Menge vorhanden.) Der Gastgeber - extrem gastfreundlich Am Anreisetag gab es einen großen Obstkorb und einen vollen Kühlschrank - angefangen an kaltem Quellwasser über Brot, Schinken und Käse bis zum eigenen Honig, Olivenöl und Raki. Vor der Abreise gab es auch noch selbst gemachtes Abschiedsgebäck. So etwas haben wir noch nie erlebt. Wir können dieses Haus uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und würden jederzeit wieder hierhin kommen.

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus für Naturliebhaber !

Das liebevoll renovierte und großzügige Ferienhaus liegt einsam und sehr ruhig mitten in Olivenwäldern, bietet einen weiten Blick bis zum Meer und ist ein hervorragender Ausgangsort für Wanderungen in den Bergen und an der Küste; ein Auto ist allerdings notwendig. Alles Wichtige ist vorhanden und darüber hinaus haben wir nicht nur einen tollen Präsentkorb mit Produkten aus Kreta vorgefunden, sondern auch einen mit Grundnahrungsmitteln gefüllten Kühlschrank. Auch zwischendurch wurden wir mit Leckereien verwöhnt. Ein hervorragender Gastgeber und ein Haus, in dem wir uns rundum wohl gefühlt haben. Herzlichen Dank dafür ! Familie E.

absoluter Geheimtip !

Die ruhige Lage mitten in Olivenbaumwäldern und der frisch renovierte Zustand des ursprünglichen Bauernhauses mit allem Komfort und Küche mit Vollausstattung und großer Terrasse hat alle Erwartungen übertroffen. Die Kinder konnten in dem riesigen Umfeld des Hauses im Grünen spielen. Auf dem Küchentisch stand zur Begrüßung einen Obstkorb mit einheimischen Leckereien. Vollkommen unkomplizierter und freundlicher Umgang mit dem Eigentümer machte den Aufenthalt absolut angenehm. Die Unterkunft ist vorbehaltlos zu empfehlen und mit Sicherheit ein Geheimtip.

Wunderbares traditionelles Ferienhaus in landschaftlich sehr schöner Lage und sehr netten Vermietern

Wir (Familie mit 5jähriger Tochter) haben noch nie ein so schönes Ferienhaus gesehen. Es ist ein traditionelles äußerst liebevoll renoviertes Steinhaus in einer wunderbaren Umgebung inmitten von alten Olivenhainen. Trotzdem ist alles vorhanden, was man zum Wohlfühlen und Kochen braucht - sogar eine Waschmaschine. Es ist herrlich ruhig und man kann wunderbar in der Umgebung auf alten Feldwegen zwischen Oliven- und Orangenbäumen spazieren. Ein Auto ist aber unbedingt erforderlich, da das Haus außerhalb eines kleinen Dorfes im Hinterland liegt und von der Küste ca. 25 Minuten entfernt ist. Auf diese hat man aber einen wunderbaren Blick von der grossen Terasse. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Sie hatten einen tollen Begrüssungskorb mit lokalen Produkten hingestellt und uns auch zwischendurch mit Leckereien versorgt, die von der Mama noch selbst gekocht wurden. Auch der Raki war sehr lecker. Einfach rührend, wie sie sich um uns gekümmert haben. So eine Gastfreundlichkeit haben wir bisher im Urlaub noch nie erlebt - einfach einzigartig. Der kleine sanfte verschmuste Kater des Hauses war sofort der beste Freund unserer kleinen Tochter. Wir waren schon ein paar Mal in Westkreta, aber dieser Aufenthalt war einfach toll. Man hat sich fast ein bißchen wie ein Einheimischer gefühlt. Wir möchten auf jeden Fall wieder kommen - ggf. in Frühling, wenn alles wunderbar blüht und die Phrygana wunderbar duftet. Wer naturverbunden ist, Ruhe sucht und etwas tiefer in das Leben der Insel eintauchen möchte, ist hier genau richtig. Giannis, Nikos, many thanks for this beautiful holiday and your hospitality. Wunderschönes, traditionelles Landhaus umgeben von Bergen, Olivenhainen und im entfernten Tal mit Weitblick auf‘s Meer. Ein ruhiger Ort, perfekt für Naturliebhaber. Das großzügige Haus wurde liebevoll restauriert. Die Vermieter sind super nett und sehr gastfreundlich. Wir haben uns ausgesprochen wohl gefühlt. (Tipp!!! Mückenschutz mitnehmen) Sabine & Birgit
