"Our room was not a refurbished one. My bedside light was not working, flushing the toilet was not good, the shower had a problem the wash water stayed in, the towels very old and worn out, the TV set didn’t work, the changed it when I reported it though. The staff were polite but not experienced with international guests and their bank cards. We rushed to do whatever we needed to do before it went dark, because the lights were ever sooo dim. Otherwise ok!"

"It was a good option for us. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was hot but the use of a fan helped. We had a great view of the Rhine. We also enjoyed the rooftop bar. Breakfast was okay, but nothing special. Parking was 21 Euros. The rooms were small and the decor was a bit retro-futuristic."

"Troisdorf is a beautiful place and the hotel was very well located in the centre of time, and a very short walk to the train + bus station where you could quickly get to the airport or Köln hbf. Our main issue with our stay was the noise, our room was located on the first floor by the stairwell and near the front of the hotel. During the nights people would scream, run up and down the hall and stairs, slam doors and overall had 0 hotel etiquette. Loud music was playing in a nearby room at midnight and the whole room was vibrating. During the mornings, potentially due to our room being located next to a storage cupboard for towels etc, the staff would be right outside our door talking loudly and slamming the doors at 8-9 o clock in the morning. This all happened on atleast 2 of the 3 nights. The bed was comfy and the price was excellent so can’t complain, but I think hotel management should do better to combat the yobs running around the hotel in the middle of the night screaming."
