"I had an absolutely wonderful stay at the residence inn Aberdeen. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming, friendly, and incredibly helpful — truly going over and above to make my stay comfortable. The property itself was clean, well-maintained, and very inviting. The bedrooms were beautiful, and I especially appreciated the extra linen provided, which was perfect as the room was quite cool. The hallway and shared areas were also lovely and well presented, and all toiletries were readily available, which was a thoughtful touch. Breakfast was absolutely fabulous, with fresh fruit, coffees, teas, water, and juices available. There was also the option of a delicious cooked breakfast alongside continental choices, which made for a great start to the day. The price was well worth it, especially considering the quality of the stay and the beautiful, comfortable bed. I would highly recommend staying here and would happily return again."

"The hotel was very busy, and wonder if the lay out of food could be improved? We all kept circling to find things! The breakfast was plentiful. And varied. Staff helpful, hotel clean."

"Unfortunately, my experience was far from what was advertised. The condition of the hotel did not match the images presented online, which I found to be misleading. Upon entering my room, I was very concerned to find that the bedding had visible burn marks, consistent with cigarette damage. No headboard for the single beds. In addition, there were both dead and live moths present on and around the bed, which is completely unacceptable from a hygiene standpoint. The overall cleanliness of the room was also poor. Thread bare carpet, marks & stain in the bath. There was a noticeable build-up of dust on the skirting boards and along the tops of the windows. Furthermore, the room had a very strong smell of bleach, which made the environment uncomfortable and raised concerns about how the room had been maintained. I did raise this with reception, and brought him proof of its condition. Advised I would like a refund he said I would need to take it up with my booking agents and he would authorise this. This experience fell significantly below the standard I would expect and has caused considerable dissatisfaction. I would appreciate it if you could investigate this matter "

"Nice hotel , I stayed here a year ago and said getting served at the bar took ages, a year later same waiting time, frustrating , tried to watch the football and in front of the screen they have put a pool table there so people playing pool are blocking the screen for everyone."

"A truly glowing review for Ardoe House Hotel & Spa We stayed as a party of five across three rooms from 14 to 16 April, and this was an absolute find. The hotel is magnificent — a stunning 19th-century Baronial mansion set within beautiful 30-acre grounds with sheep in the fields. It's a peaceful countryside retreat, yet just five miles from Aberdeen. Our rooms were spacious, modern, beautifully decorated, and spotlessly clean, with tea/coffee, fridge, safe, iron, hairdryer, and quality bathroom toiletries. Breakfast was a delight — a well-cooked, tasty buffet with hot and cold options, regularly replenished. The gym is modern and well-equipped. The indoor pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, and steam room were excellent — even with swimming lessons taking place, there was still ample space. Parking was plentiful, despite the hotel being busy, and the staff were friendly throughout. Ardoe House is a gem. Beautiful history, modern comforts, and wonderful grounds. We'll definitely be back."
