"Great hotel when seeing a gig. Room spacious and clean. Enjoyed the Spa. Food was nice but expensive. G&T was over £14 (with service) - ouch! They just assumed we wanted a double. Long queue in the morning for breakfast and one small self service coffee machine which regularly ran out of milk and coffee beans etc. Loved the honey!"

"Hitel is a lovely old building with nice, well equipped rooms. Unfortunately, the menu prices were a bit steep which isn't a problem when the food is excellent, but we found ours not so with various parts microvaved. For nearly £100 for two beers, two starters and two main courses you don't wish to be left disappointed."

"The room was clean although the decor is dated. Two challenges for me - only one light in the room on the wall. I had to ask for a bedside lamp. The staff was excellent at helping resolve that dilemma. The second issue was intermittent internet access. "

"The hotel was very clean. Our room was spotless but had a dirty of chemical smell which was a bit off putting. We were disapponted that there wasn't room service after a long journey to the hotel. Might be worth updating your website as we would have avoided getting a last minute luke warm takeaway. Breakfast was ok - the choice was really good but had been lying out a while so wasn't the easiest to eat. I would imagine it would be lovely if it was a bit fresher. "
