The house is beautifully decorated and generously furnished. Great views and a walk up the road to the pub and shops. Enough seating space for everyone. 1 bath towel per person was adequate- it would have been nice to have 2 each, for a stay of 6 nights. We enjoyed using the kitchen- a nice house to relax into in the evening. We had a couple of queries and a prompt response from the property manager was reassuring. Cleanliness was very good although the property is old and needs some maintenance. Kitchen was well equipped. There was mould on the ceiling of the bathroom and the vinyl floors needed a wash. Recommend the fishing charter with Sean (Emu Bay Fishing Charter). House location is great as a base to explore the island and close to amenities. However, we holidayed in winter, and when we arrived the house was icy, and took quite a while to warm up. We would have appreciated the heater being on for a while to welcome us.
