"This is one of the cheapest places to stay in the Greater Vancouver area. So expectations should not be high. The place is clean but badly in need of renovations and repairs. The ceiling in our room SPRANG A LEAK and dripped all over the floor before we discovered the problem at midnight. After hours, no staff at the desk to report the problem. So drip drip drip all night into a garbage pail to catch the leak. Previous leak repairs are obvious on the ceiling. This place desperately needs a reno. It’s safe and clean, but buyer beware."

"Breakfast was excellent. But the bath tub is clogged and tub itself is dirty. I understand that they only do quick cleaning but this was not acceptable. Counter top was dirty that previous guest's k-cup still in the machine."

"Janice was a wonderful host! Allowed us to check in early, having arrived several hours prior to check-in, from a cruise. The place was clean and just as pictured/described! Even saw several ducks during morning coffee!! Would book again!!!"

"The room was okay for 1 or 2 people. The only downside for us was there was no kitchen or kitchen sink, there was just a mini fridge and a microwave. Dishes were there but no dishcloth or tea towel, plus you have to wash them in the bathroom sink (which was okay, and we did using a face cloth) but there was no counter space to put the wet dishes on. Upside was it had a nice backyard greenspace to relax in, a dedicated parking space, and it was close to many amenities."

"This basement suite was so ideal to stay in. Very modern, very beautiful, stunning interior, every amenity you need for you stay.It’s in walking distance to two grocery stores, parks, and restaurants. It also has a very convenient bus stop in front of the house the basement suite is attached to.In my time there I didn’t need to use the outdoor patio since I was visiting friends and colleagues. Next time I would use it.Brett (host) was fantastic in his communication in anything that was needed. This space I highly recommend for long and short term needs in your stay."
