"We stayed at this house for the second time, using it as a base for fishing at the nearby by reservoirs of Rutland, Grafham, and Pitsford. It's a great property, very well equipped and comfortable. Communications with the owners were easy and helpful."

"Thank you so much to Rebecca what a gracious hostess! We had such a lovely stay at "Carter's yard". The cottage was clean, comfortable and a perfect location in Kimbolton. Convenient small market nearby for any essentials within walking distance and wonderful cafe next door (Crawford's). We felt so at home during our stay and Rebecca made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our visit. Directions provided by hostess were accurate we were able to check-in without any issues. "This medieval house was really cute. Does come with the quirks of an older house (creaky stairs, small rooms) but that adds to the charm. Host was very helpful throughout our stay and on arrival had items in fridge (milk/butter/jam) and some pastries along w/ a bottle of wine. location is perfect for wandering around Stamford and a quick 5min walk from Train station so very doable w/ luggage"

"Lovely little house, with everything you need for a home from home. Downsides- there is child lock on the Wi-fi, not good for a tradesman working away. Cold house- woke up every morning shivering. Wasn’t sure how to set heating timer. And next door there are elderly neighbours who must be deaf- they are night owls and I’m sure their tv is directly opposite the wall of bed stand. Was maybe 2am before all was quiet. Also nothing to do with house but there were scrambler bikes going up and down...
