"I use this property quite a bit while away with work. I choose to come back here as the rooms are clean and tidy, the service is excellent and the quality of food at breakfast and dinner is superb. There is a cosy bar with a great selection of drinks and a roaring fire in the winter. There is a bit of construction work going on at the minute however the inconvenience has been kept to a minimum. At my last visit I managed to leave a receipt that I needed in my room. I contacted the hotel and they emailed me a duplicate without any trouble so thanks to the Team for helping me out on that front!"

"The room was clean and nicely decorated. The bathroom looked to be newly renovated. The bar downstairs was a friendly place to visit after a day of sightseeing. The proprietor was extremely friendly and a delight to chat with. It was overall a nice mix of old and new. "
