  • An unforgettable getaway awaits at this dog and family-friendly home! Located only a mile from the heart of Kill Devil Hills, this well-equipped home has everything you, your loved ones, and even your dogs could need to experience a vacation out of this world!

    This home is perfect for those looking to rest and unwind, but also would like to experience some outdoor fun. The covered front deck offers a nice place to sit and hang out with plenty of comfortable chairs. More fun awaits at the back patio with a firepit surrounded by a handful of patio chairs and a picnic table for meals al fresco. There's also an outdoor shower to rinse off the sand after spending a day at the beach. The ground-floor covered patio boasts an inviting hammock (perfect for midday naps) and a gas grill.

    Inside, this light-filled retreat has a cozy living area with two sofas in front of a 55' LED Smart TV's you can stream your favorite shows and watch any sports game you want! The fully-equipped kitchen has stainless steel appliances, including a full-size fridge, stove, oven, and microwave. The breakfast bar seats up to three with high stools and is a great addition to the four-person dining table.

When we arrived and entered the property, it was apparent that it had not been cleaned. The sofa was very stained and one had dog hair all over it. There were used towels all over bathroom floor and body waste left in toilet. Also hair and dirt in the tub which showed it had not be cleaned. Both beds had dirty linens in a pile and had no clean linen at all. Outdoor furniture had excessive dirt and bird droppings all over them. Weeds around the property grounds were high making the fire pit and backyard inaccessible. We were told dishes were left in dishwasher and clean but there was no dishwasher. Very limited amount of dishes and utensils. On a positive note, we were able to get a refund and book another property to salvage our trip. We definitely could not recommend this property unless major improvements are made.
