We loved that there was a recycling center in the parking lot. The views were incredible! You could see Haleakala from the front door and Pu'u Kukui and the ocean from the balcony! The grounds are very clean and maintained. The unit was clean and had a good supply of cleaning products and paper products. During the third load of laundry the pump broke. I called the customer service desk and it was fixed by the next day. I shared the room with a friend/coworker. Since she had never been to Maui before I told her to take the bedroom and I would sleep on the sofa bed. The comfort of the sofa bed was just as expected, not comfortable at all. When sitting out on the balcony, you're almost constantly hearing traffic drive by. You may also hear It in the mornings, alongside the wild roosters crowing ;). It's definitely an older crowd that stays here, but that makes it a very quiet environment. Just an fyi; it's typically windy on this part of Maui, and we weren't able to swim at the beach in front of the property because of the rough wave conditions, but we were able to find other places to enjoy the ocean. Overall, it met our expectations and I highly recommend this location. We will definitely consider staying here again if we find ourselves back on Maui! ##### Dylan M. Some of the nice touches were the thick beach towels, beach chairs and umbrella provided. It was nice to be able to walk down to the beach. One issue was the cleanliness of the unit. Kitchen and bathroom clean. The bedroom carpet is dirty and stained. It bothers me when you don’t feel comfortable letting your feet touch the floor. Vasca asked soon after arriving about the cleanliness. I let them know and they asked for photos which I provided. There response was “I’m very sorry for this issue”. It had everything we needed for a one week stay. The reason for giving a 4 star for the check in procedure is: When you arrive at 10 am, it is a long day to not be able to check in until 4pm. We arrived about an hour early and asked to be allowed to check in. There is really no personal touch, or anyone to talk to about this. There did not appear to still be cleaners at the property, but no one got back to us to let us know. We ended up waiting until 4 because there was no one to talk to about this. Everything is automatic and programmed for the published hours. The office staff was very friendly but they have no control about this particular part of the check in process. ##### Maureen H. We enjoyed the condo and our stay. VACASA reached out by text/ call a couple times to make sure everything was great. Condo has a great view, and grounds are extremely well maintained. We also used the grills by the pool a couple of times, and those are thoroughly cleaned each morning by staff). We liked that the resort had shopping carts on the first floor to bring groceries etc up to your door. Walking distance to farmers market, ABC store, and shaved ice. The beach is very nice too. We walked the beach every morning. I would stay here again. I would recommend you bring (unless you want to purchase on your own once there) extra dishwasher and laundry tabs. They provide a few of each. Also, bring fabric softener if you want it. No complaints. Sheets and pillow cases are in the bottom drawer of the tall dresser (we didn't find them until the day before we left because we didn't look in that drawer until then, so just FYI if you'll need them for the pull out couch). ##### Shauna J. We stayed in this condo for nearly 3 weeks with our two children. The unit is nicely upgraded, well stocked and just as pictured. The sofa sleeper was comfy enough for two younger kiddos. The unit is centrally located, the pool and grounds were always clean and the A/C worked well. I took off one star because the unit's beach umbrella was broken, the shoulder strap on the beach cooler was broken, and one edge of one of the boogie boards was broken. Those items were unusable and we had to pay to rent a beach umbrella.
