Catch a whale watch cruise from Maalaea Harbor (during season), just a 10 minute drive form our home! Make your friends jealous. He went above and beyond by providing helpful suggestions throughout my stay. The location is ideal—right across from the beach and the whale sanctuary, with shopping and activities nearby. Lovely little place perfect for our family vacation. Very central to everything with a beach and fish pond right across the street. The owner was easy to reach if we needed anything and communication was stellar! We were surprised at all that was there when we arrived, such as stocked items in the freezer and cupboards paid forward by previous guests and playing cards and books in the drawer when you have some downtime. You have easy access to the beach which is beautiful and calm, you get to see up closevthe turtles when they come to this site to sleep. Restaurants where afew minutes away driving and they are also at walking distance if you want do some exercise. One the best shave ice location in right on the same street and you can go across and enjoy it right on the beach.
