Every room is cooled with Split System AC's with remote controls. Master suite has a King bed (single futon stored underneath for a child), private lanai, vanity area and full bathroom. The master suite has AC & ceiling fan, large (mirrored doors) closet and a wall mounted 25' TV w/DVD. One whole wall of the bedroom is floor to ceiling window and sliding glass doors to the private lanai, master also has Black Out Shades for a good nights sleep. You don't have to be on the lanai or get out of bed to enjoy the view! The master bedroom affords privacy from the living area and the second bedroom. Second bedroom has a Queen bed and a Twin bed with wall to wall, ceiling to floor mirrored closets, AC and a ceiling fan. There are white shutters on the large window with a view of Mt. Haleakala. The second bedroom has it's own hallway and full bathroom which allows for privacy also. Living room sofa opens into a Queen bed. Each bedroom plus the living room have their own new Mitsubishi , extremely quiet AC with individual remotes for climate control. The spacious living room area has a 55' LCD Flat screen TV. Free WiFi. Condominium is handicapped-friendly with grab bars in both shower/tubs. Condominium is one level - no stairs. Condominium complex has elevators. This is an end unit and is the closest unit to the elevators, BBQ's, parking lot, shuffle board deck and Pickle Ball courts.. It feels like all of these amenities are yours privately because they are right outside your door. Most of the condo walls are made of solid cement which makes the complex very quiet. There is rarely any noise heard through the walls, floors or ceilings. Kamaole Beach 1, which is one block away is one the best beaches in Maui. This beach is literally a 3 minute walk and has bathrooms, lifeguards, grassy areas and rinse-off outdoor showers. Extras include beach towels, beach chairs and mats, ice chests, beach bags, beach umbrellas, kids beach toys, cards & games, port-a-crib, high chair, gas barbecue, pool, hot tub. Beach, shopping, and dining are a three minute walk (great for older kids). Centrally located on a private dead end street. Free off street parking is plentiful in the back parking lot. Full size oven/stove, microwave, refrigerator and dish washer. The full size clothes washer & dryer are in the condo. The kitchen is fully stocked with coffee maker, pancake griddle, crockpot, rice cooker, electric mixer, toaster, blender, pots and pans, all the items you expect to have in a kitchen. Wake up to the songs of tropical birds and roll over to see another wonderful Maui day. Enjoy your morning coffee or tea in your pajamas on the lanai and witness the sun rising behind you on the clear ten thousand foot Mt Haleakala. Gaze out straight ahead to watch the morning unfold to views of West Maui mountain, partial ocean views and sweeping panoramic views of the foothills and the cities in the distance. \*\*Listing shows a 2 week cancellation policy which I cannot change on VRBO but I changed the cancellation to 48 hours. \*\* VRBO uses GPS for walking distances. The actual walking time to the beach is 3-4 minutes (not 8 minutes). We've stayed in this condo complex before so we already knew it was a great location etc. The unit itself was clean, well stocked, and an easy walk from the parking lot. Great communication from the host as well. If you're looking for a 2 bed/2 bath within walking distance of a whole lot, I don't see how you could do much better. ##### Matt E. Everything is clearly marked and so many things available for use. She was always quick to respond to a question (even before our stay) and had great suggestions. I had my senior folks with me with mobility challenges and this location was so easy from the parking lot with the elevator. I read on a review that it was an inclined walk to the road and although it was an easy walk for me, we never attempted with my folks. The location was quiet yet close to everything. And after our second time I do think Kamaole beaches are THE best. Thank you for a lovely stay! ##### Joelle F. The condo was spacious and clean, with everything we needed for an enjoyable vacation. There were ample towels and beach gear for the six of us. The air conditioning worked great and the ceiling fans kept us cool when the air wasn't on. Two bathrooms provided us with enough space to get ready for our nightly outings. Separate quiet AC in each room is a huge plus. Very clean and well-equipped. There are restaurants within walking distance. Safeway is a short drive away. Even though it’s only a partial ocean view, the view of the mountain is beautiful. There is another unit upstairs so you will hear a little noise if it’s occupied, but people all seem well behaved here. We would happily return! ##### Linda C. Close walk to everything….beaches, stores, restaurants and more. It is also in the middle point so can be easily traveled to Lahaina and Wailea. The unit is conveniently located in the back near the parking where there is an elevator and trash chute as well as recycling. The pool is a little away but works out due to noise level from the pool area. The settings on the AC unit remotes challenged us but property mgmt and the host assisted in no time and the 3 zone ACs saved our family from arguments(too hot, too cold). The condo also provided boogie boards, sand toys, coolers, chairs which was great and cost savings. Would definitely stay here again when returning to Maui. ##### Fue Y. Having air conditioners in every room was convenient and the kitchen was well stocked. Location was great with many stores and restaurants within a 10 minute drive. There were a couple issues: the wifi instructions were incorrect and we were without wifi for the first day and the bathtub faucet broke so we were without use of one shower for a day. However, they were fixed the following days and the property manager was responsive although I had to leave messages and wait for return calls each time. Nothing major that made our stay bad, but I did want to provide examples of inevitable issues that arise with rentals and responses. I look forward to hopefully staying again in the future. ##### Ryan W. This condo exceeded all of our expectations!! We had THE BEST time staying here! First of all, the location is AMAZING. It is so close to such a nice beach! We easily walked to the beach, restaurants, and shops daily. The parking lot is close and the condo itself is right by the elevator/stairs. The picked ball court and BBQ grill are also right outside the room. It is so well stocked with everything you could possibly think of! There wasn’t anything we came across that we did not have access to! There is Plenty of beach chairs, beach toys, boogie boards, sun umbrellas, beach towels, coolers etc. The kitchen has everything! There is tons of bath towels, sheets, blankets, pillows! Our favorite part was the Lanai! It is spacious and has a great view of the ocean! We stayed here with a family is it was PERFECT! I would definitely book this place again when we come back! The owner was very responsive and check in and check out were super easy! Thank you again Carol! It is close to a beautiful beach with plenty of shopping, restaurants, etc, around and the sunset is to die for. I would recommend the food truck park not far from there and definitely the Cones at Kihei for dessert. The unit seemed small at first when you walk in, but in a bit you realize there’s enough room for all. The couch could be cleaner, and turns into an extra bed. We were a bit alarmed to see some paint cans in the secondary bedroom closet. Is that safe lol? No other issues with the unit and was comfy. The kids liked that it was right next to pickleball and the swimming pool wasn’t far. You could walk to the beach, but if you are carrying a lot of stuff, it’s easier to drive to the road and park (free and easy to find a spot). I liked the unit was close to the rear parking. But do park only at the open uncovered spots and fill out the parking form. I saw another car get a ticket. The host says she allows late checkout for 75$ if no one’s checking in, but when we asked more than a week in advance, she could not allow it because the cleaners didn’t want to come at a later time. She let us checkout at noon for $60, which helped too, since everyone was dead tired after our road to Hana drive the previous day. Also, the wifi had changed and we couldn’t find out what it was till the next day. All these are tiny issues, but just wanted to put it out there.
