Why stay in a crowded hotel when you can stay in this spacious, stunning, air conditioned 5 Star condo? The Palms at Wailea # 1903 has been completely renovated and has an absolutely fabulous location on Maui... on the sunny side of the island. The bright and airy ground floor unit is almost 1200 sq ft, and opens up to an expansive outdoor space and manicured lawn. It is walking distance to multiple beaches (including the world famous Keawakapu Beach), great snorkeling, and the gorgeous 3.5 mile Wailea Oceanfront beach path. It’s also walking distance to the shops at Wailea, restaurants, and the Grand Wailea and Four Seasons hotels. There are three world class golf courses and the Wailea Tennis Club within a minute’s drive from The Palms complex. This unit is amazingly flexible and perfect for remote work, a romantic relaxing holiday, or a family vacation. Additionally, the Palms at Wailea complex is a gorgeous property with lush tropical landscaping which you can enjoy as you enjoy a stroll around the grounds or enjoy a meal on your spacious lanai. This home is superior to typical rentals. It is spacious, clean and modern, with large comfortable rooms, new, high-end furnishings throughout and tasteful decor. The fully equipped kitchen has quartz countertops, a purified water system, lots of storage and new, stainless-steel appliances. There are sliding panels outside to the huge lanai for easy access to indoor/outdoor serving. The lanai has comfortable patio furnishings and a dining area where you can enjoy expansive views of the lawns, palm trees, tropical vistas and lots of blue Hawaiian sky. The two bedrooms, sleeping 4, have new comfortable mattresses and high-count Egyptian cotton bedding. The Master bedroom opens to the large private wrap around lanai and has a king bed and a spa-like en suite bathroom. The Guest bedroom has two twin beds that are convertible to a king. There is air conditioning throughout as well as plenty of windows for ventilation in case you’d rather enjoy the island air and ocean breezes. In Palms of Wailea #1903, there is a dining area off the kitchen, 2 flat-screen TVs, and free WIFI. The pool (and spa) area has magnificent ocean views and is steps away from the condo…. close, but not so close that you can hear anyone. Note: A $500 refundable security deposit is required. Same day bookings and those arriving within 48 hours of making the reservation require a phone call to Rentals Maui for confirmation. Bookings made within 7 days of arrival will require an ID check and screening prior to confirmation. Longer stays require additional terms and conditions. Water was very warm. Unit was not newly remodeled. and had worn lanai furniture, old towels and bedding, and some other problems we’ve communicated to the PM. There is a void in the foundation which causes the flooring damage, possible tripping hazard which is why I don’t recommend this unit until it is fixed. ##### John R. Furnished and decorated very well with comfortable beds and a layout that was excellent for our family of 4 -- one good kids bedroom with twin beds and a separate bedroom with attached bath for the parents. The outdoor patio was a pleasant spot for breakfast and has enough room both for a dining table and lounge chairs. The unit was outfitted with key items such as beach chairs, a beach umbrella, boogie boards, and a mask and snorkel -- all very handy for our daily trips to nearby beaches. All in all, a very comfortable property with a good overall feel. The location is good so long as you aren’t expecting walkability -- while you \*could\* walk to shops or the beach, it’s just far enough that realistically you’re much more likely to hop in the car for a short drive to wherever you want to go. And of course the unit isn’t situated to have dramatic views or see the ocean. But it’s a very quick drive to great beaches, Wailea shops, and Kihei for more casual restaurant options. So, a good base for exploring this part of Maui. ##### David S. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. We enjoyed the amenities and extras the condo had. The beach chairs, snorkel masks & boards were a big hit. There was a few things broken when we arrived, but it didn't really affect our stay too much, that is the only reason for 4 stars vs 5\. It's a beautifully furnished condo with everything you need for an amazingly relaxing stay. The beach is within walking distance and one of the least crowded. Plenty of restaurants and shops close by. We look forward to staying here again in the future.
