    The remodel is complete with new floors throughout, new kitchen cabinets and a remodeled bathroom. Designed with an island-inspired touch, this condo is equipped with mini-split A/C systems in both the living room and bedroom, along with ceiling fans in each space, ensuring a cool and comfortable environment throughout your stay. For added convenience, a private washer/dryer is located in the kitchen area. Marian has this great spot loaded with everything you need for a great Maui vacation! Great view, extra towels, comfortable bed, beach supplies and even coolers for picnic lunches. The garden and food truck park was a favorite of ours. Great beaches nearby. And Marian was a peach to work with - very responsive. I highly recommend this place!

Amazing place

The location is the hest in Kihei 'walking distance to shops and restaurants and a block away from the South Maui gardens. The view from the leaving room is fantastic . The apartment is well equipped and was also very clean. I would not recommend this place because I want to keep it for me...;-)))

Amazing place, perfect location!

We love this condo so much that we came back to stay here again. We enjoyed the wonderful beach view from the lanai and appreciated supplies and pantry were well stocked. The cleaning crew did an amazing job and it was clean and organized when we arrived. The location is perfect as Island Surf is located at the heart of Kihei and only a close walk to meals and groceries!

Wonderful Place

Most well stocked VRBO we've ever stayed in. Had absolutely everything we needed from the kitchen appliances and supplies, to beach towels, laundry and more. Very clean, fantastic location close to beaches, surfing, shopping, and restraunts, pool, parking and beautiful sunsets. We'll be back!

Vacation of a lifetime!!! The hosts thought of every detail to make our trip complete! Unit was perfect for 2 and very clean. The location was superb if you like to be busy and don’t mind traffic. Great location!

We really enjoyed our stay here so much! We loved sitting on the balcony especially in the morning watching the surfers and people watching in general. The food trucks right behind the property in the Gardens was so convenient as was walking to many choices for restaurants and shops! The beaches right on S Kihei were wonderful starting just steps across the street. We enjoyed having the pool also. The condo was spacious for just the two of us and had everything we needed and so much more. Super well equipped! We want to come back soon!

Beautiful sunsets

The property was quite roomy and the kitchen and unit was the best equipped condo/house that we have stayed at. Close to shopping and restaurants and right across the street from the beach. The street in front of the condo building can be a bit noisy in the early evening as people are heading out for the evening but it is quiet by eight. The bedroom is in the back of the unit, so you don't hear anything during the night.

Good central location

My family had a great time staying at Marian's place. She was responsive to any questions we had. Close proximity to beach and shops and restaurants. A few items that can be improved is the air conditioner is quite loud and the cool air doesn’t reach the bedroom. Tiny bugs were on the counters and we started to plug the sink when not home and that seems to have reduced them. Im not sure if those bugs are a common thing in maui in general.

We enjoyed our time in Maui. The walkability to dining and restaurants was great. The food trucks were great. The condo was comfortable but unfortunately there was constant construction going on the whole time which limited my childs ability to rest. I know this isnt in the owners control but I do wish this would have been socialized with us ahead of time as its not really conducive to a nap schedule. The pool wasnt ideal (and we didnt want to use it with all the construction noise anyway) and while you can surf in the waters across the street there isnt a traditional sandy beach which is ideal for families, particularly those who were trying to walk everywhere. Overall, we had a good time but would not return.

Great stay, but maintenance issues caused difficulties

Overall, I had a lovely stay at Marian’s condo. The only downside was that the water was shut off during business hours on two days of my 5 day stay. Because it was a business trip, the lack of water was very problematic. I met with clients for many hours on both days at the condo, and the noise from the maintenance crews and lack of water were borderline intolerable. There was minimal hot water in the mornings, and I’m not sure if that had to do with the plumbing issue. These issues were obviously out of Marian’s control, and the condo would have more than accommodated my needs absent the plumbing issues. Marian was very communicative and friendly. The condo is well situated, comfortable, and has a nice view. Would recommend to friends and family.

Great apartment/location for a couple or small family

We stayed here for a week with 2 teenage children. The kids were comfortable on the pull out and it was nice that we had a bit of privacy from them with the separate bedroom. We really liked the location and easy access to beaches and many amenities like grocery and drug stores. We made good use of the beach equipment and kitchen throughout our stay. This was by far the best stocked VRBO I've ever stayed in! The kids also enjoyed the pool when we had had enough of the beach. As other reviewers have said, the air conditioner is quite loud, but that's not unlike any window air conditioner. We didn't find the street noise a problem at all, and in fact I was surprised at how quiet the building was generally. We never heard the neighbors, which is rare in an apartment building. We did find the bedroom quite hot at night since the air conditioner is in the living room, but we made use of the fans that were provided and kept fairly comfortable. Marian was very responsive and we really enjoyed our stay here.

We visited Kihei in January 2024 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the unit. Location: The condo is located on a busy street on a main artery of Kihei, South Kihei road. There is easy access to several restaurants/bars. South Maui Gardens is right behind the condo complex, containing several food trucks, entertainment stage and beautiful grounds. I highly recommend taking this in, something going on every night! Foodland grocery is about a 3 minute walk and has all your needs covered. The condo has an ocean view, right across from the street below. The water is not really swimmable, however, there is a nice boardwalk for a stroll and take in the sights of the ocean. To access better swimming and beach, Charlie Young beach is about an 8 minute walk. Condo unit and complex: The 1 bdr unit is clean, spacious and well planned. The washer and dryer are fantastic to have in the suite. The unit stocked with towels, cutlery, utensils, dishwasher, pot & pans, paper towels, cooking spices, cooking oil, you name it, very impressed with this. The complex has 6 stories and every unit has an ocean view. There is a small swimming pool on the 2nd floor with two grills/BBQ's. Owner: Marian is an excellent owner and super easy to deal with. Communication is prompt. Summary: We were very happy here and highly recommend it to others! For what you receive and the price you pay, its a no-brainer. 5 stars
