Lots of little touches, including a fine collection of books (travel guides, cookbooks, and even a copy of Hawaii by James Michener) and cds/dvds. Fabulous and well-appointed kitchen. Comfy layout. Beautiful grounds. Our only slight negative was there were no restaurants or stores walking distance from the condo, so we always had to drive. Short drive to wherever you want to go. Beach area a bit rocky right by property but just walk a few extra steps and you’ll find sandy beach! Condo was clean, pool, hot tub and grounds beautifully kept. Our condo was cozy, kitchen had all you needed to cook and on sight barbecues by pool were a plus. View from balcony was breathtaking. Only minus was smoke detector started chirping and furniture could use a bit more padding/cushioning because it was not comfortable to sit on for more than a short bit. But since there were only 2 of us we just doubled up the cushions and could enjoy sitting on balcony longer! Definitely recommend Luana Kai in Kihei! ##### stephanie e.
