  • Kihei Bay Surf Studio #218 is an upstairs studio with vaulted ceilings and a fully equipped kitchen. It has a queen bed, sofa sleeper and sleeps 3. There is a room unit air conditioner in the living room as well as a ceiling fan and a flat screen TV . Kihei Bay Surf Studio #218 is equipped with unlimited calling to U.S. and Canada and wireless internet service. Coin-operated laundry room on-site.
    Please note: This unit is on the second floor with no elevator available.
    Same day bookings and those arriving within 24 hours of making the reservation requires a phone call to Rentals Maui for confirmation.
    Bookings made within 7 days of arrival will require an ID check and screening prior to confirmation.

    The Kihei Bay Surf is located in North Kihei across the street from the Whale Sanctuary and Kalepolepo Beach and an ancient Hawaiian fishpond. Each studio has a fully equipped kitchen, Cable TV and can sleep 2 people. In addition there is a large pool, hot tub, tennis court, gas grills and common laundry areas for your use. Whale watch, windsurf, walk the beach and enjoy the most amazing sunsets imaginable. The Kihei Bay Surf is centrally located to shops, restaurants and is just minutes from the championship golf courses of Wailea and Makena. This is one of the best values in Kihei.

The room itself was spacious enough for our party of 2. I’d like to make a few recommendations to better accommodate guests in the future. For one, the mattress should be replaced as it is sinking in on one end and extremely uncomfortable to sleep on. I’d also like to make a general recommendation of maybe reconsidering the layout of the room as the cool air from the A/C gets blocked off by the couch. It would hold greater utility if the bed was placed beside the A/C directly. Otherwise the stay was comfortable.

Perfect location and great size!

This was the perfect size for me and two other friends. It didn’t feel crammed or too tight for three of us. We loved how it was in a convenient location in Kehei, a short distance to so many beaches and great food.

This studio condo has all the basics covered well. This visit was the second in this complex: great location, lovely pool and hot-tub, a great lanai for two. We'd certainly do it again!

Ideal location to explore island

My husband and I would stay again. We needed somewhere that was clean and simple, central to hiking opportunities, and stocked with beach chairs/towels. This checked all of those boxes and we had a wonderful first trip to Maui. I enjoyed running along the sidewalks on the street of this condo in the mornings. Mahalo!

What we needed

Just what we needed. There was a flood right before we came so the streets were covered in mud, all that really meant for us was a quiet neighborhood. There were beach chairs and umbrellas on the lanai and beach towels in the closet. We spent most of our time out and this was a convenient and affordable place to stay.

Best. Trip. Ever.

We loved this cute, comfortable property! It was convenient to every place we wanted to go, and was clean, safe, and so sweet. Lots of extra thoughtful touches made it such a fun stay, and we stayed an entire week. Some of the things we really loved were all of the places and surfaces to store things, the generous shower, the laundry facilities nearby, the proximity to so many beaches, and all the little things we didn’t know we would need, like a cocktail shaker, cooler bag, and beach chairs.. This was just perfect for us. We will be back, without a doubt.
