It’s a convenient spot from which we made several day trips to Paia area, Haleakala, Wailea, and Makena State Park. The condo (H 506) was comfortable, quiet, and spacious. We really appreciated having two bathrooms with showers. The décor was tasteful and all the rooms were very clean. The roomy, updated kitchen was thoughtfully stocked with all the tableware, cookware, appliances and utensils we needed. We really appreciated the convenience of having an in-suite washer & dryer, and having beach chairs, towels, picnic coolers to take to the beach.. However, we felt that the listing description of “breathtaking ocean views” was a bit overstated because although we could see the ocean in the distance from the balcony, it actually overlooks a large concrete parkade. Also, the bedroom didn’t appear to be recently updated and could benefit from a replacement of the mattress and pillows.The amenities (pool and barbecue area) were excellent, and the adjacent garden with tropical flowers and palms provided a peaceful place to relax. The host had great communication with us through check in and check out. The building was very quiet and I never heard anyone else around us! It is so conveniently located across the street from the beach, we frequently walked to watch sunset then walked down the road for dinner afterwards!
