Extra guest fee of $20 per person, per night added for more than 4 guests. Lovely cross breeze when trade winds are blowing. Pool and jacuzzi area. Small gym Walk to beach in minutes Tennis and Pickleball public courts at adjacent park. Gas BBQs on the manicured lawn and garden area between the A and B buildings. Located in the A building on the 3rd floor. Elevator in building A to 3rd floor. Trash shoots on each floor near the elevator. There is a stairwell and emergency exit close to our condo. Trash bins and recycling in the middle of the parking area. Recycle bins for GLASS, PLASTIC and ALUMINUM are located in Parking Area. A shopping cart is available by the front desk for guest use (return to office when done). TV in primary bedroom, Large Smart TV in living area. Ceiling fans in all rooms. Newer Sectional Sofa. We provide Microfiber Beach Towels for our guests - They are thinner than regular cotton beach towels, but wick water from your body, resist sand buildup, dry faster and are lighter and more compact than a cotton beach towels. Enjoy the Island feel from our renovated two bedroom condo conveniently located in central Kihei. Newer kitchen, bathrooms and tile flooring. We have beach items: towels. ice chest, chairs, & umbrella for your use. There are air conditioning wall units in both bedrooms and the living area which are on 4 hour timers as well as ceiling fans in each room and a floor fan if needed. When the trade winds are blowing we suggest opening the sliders, close the screens and turn on the ceiling fans for a nice cross breeze. Travel comfortably with another couple or a family. Plenty of room with the queen Murphy bed. The complex is beautiful and from the lanai you can sit and enjoy your morning coffee bathing in the sun while viewing Haleakala volcano and garden views. You may see a peek of ocean from our lanai, but we consider our unit as a garden view and price it accordingly. The pool, property, lawn and all other amenities are well maintained. There is an office on property located in the B building for all your inquiries about the Maui Sunset property. If you need assistance with our condo; contact our property manager first, then the on island contact. The Maui Sunset office only registers our guests and distributes the condo keys, pool key fob and parking pass. Parking is not designated so you may park anywhere it is not marked for another use. Dine in using our fully stocked kitchen with newer appliances or better yet head down to the group BBQ's to catch up on what other travelers or locals are up to. The best recipes are exchanged down there. If you are not interested in cooking at the condo, there are plenty of restaurants on the island to satisfy your needs. Let us know if you need recommendations? Tennis and Pickleball courts nearby at the county park just adjacent to the Maui Sunset complex. There is an activity desk at the poolside for rentals and booking excursions. The location was great and the short walk to the beach was amazing. Front desk staff were helpful and very nice. We used the pool and hot tub often and enjoyed them both. The condo was fine to come back to, but could have been better. Check in also could have been better. Our relatives stayed in a separate condo and were able to get into their room with a door code. It was also so nice to have BBQs to use on the grounds snd to be able to walk to the beach. She kept in constant contact with me and made sure we had everything we needed and it made us feel very taken care of. Bathrooms on the small side. The overall condo was spacious. The lanai was nice but closer to the road than some units, so you heard that noise more than waves. However, you could still see the sun setting through the trees. The Property Manager, Jillian was amazing! She welcomed us, responded quickly to requests or questions. Fully stocked with everything we wanted to take to the beach- chairs, unbrella, cooler. Having laundry in the unit was wonderful. We really enjoyed coffee on the spacious balcony. The grounds were beautiful and we saw many, many sea turtles on the beach at night on the beach. Buy some water shoes on Amazon as the water can be a bit rocky. Be sure to visit the upscale food truck market nearby. As 2 couples, the second bedroom is not comparable to the master. The bedroom window looks onto a brick wall and the bedroom is dark. The bathroom in the hall is quite small with no storage or counter space. The shower is tight but had a great shower head. It would be fine for a family. It was easy to get to all sides of the island relatively quick. The building was well maintained. The other guests or owners were welcoming. The pool was enjoyable and beautiful at sunset. The condo itself was clean, well-stocked. In fact, we commented on how the condo had everything we needed to enjoy time at the beach. The mattresses and furniture were comfortable. While the bathrooms are not large, we didn't think that mattered because the rest of the condo was very roomy to enjoy meals together or allow for us to play board games. The courtyard view from the balcony was enjoyable while I worked and if seated in the right spot you could see the sunrise and sunset over the palm trees. The internet speed was great for video calls. The location of the condo in the building was nice as we were able to enjoy time on the balcony without hearing all the people in the courtyard. We would stay at this location again on future visits to Maui. Also, the property manager was very easy to communicate with prior to our arrival and when it came time to check out. ##### Misty L. Easy access w/ plenty of parking. The condo complex offers family-friendly amenities. Beachfront access not ideal for swimming however quiet for sunbathing or reading a book/relaxing etc. Excellent spot to picnic and view Maui sunsets! Aside from pool & hot tub, there are old school shuffleboard decks, expansive lawn for bocce ball or croquet, tennis/pickleball courts, putting green, foot wash & car wash station too. There are many convenient restaurant options nearby and further down to Makena for more upscale dining. Heads up: South Maui Fish Co. has the freshest fish in Kihea & Da Kitchen has enormous portions. Both are less than 5 minute drive. The location of the complex really is convenient. Hosts really very thoughtful of needs such as ample beach towels & accessories like coolers, umbrellas, snorkel gear, chairs etc. Very bright and open kitchen/dining/living area. Appliances included coffee maker, rice cooker & high speed blender. Sturdy pots/pans/dinnerware, etc. Linens were of good quality — thick bath towel sets! The Murphy bed encloses nicely during the day for more space and is ideal for family friends that wake earlier than others. Very thoughtful addition! The washer & dryer are fast & efficient. Drying rack available for any delicates. There are only two things that I would say as not ideal is bathrooms are on smaller side but doable and unit itself is closer to main road vs. the beach.
