Just a great house, great pool, great beach access, and great owner! You will feel like you are in your home (only with a pool!) for your stay. This is the second time we have rented 178 Glen Abbey, and we will be back if we can get a rental week. It is very booked as you can see! ##### Candy B. Our visit took place during a tropical storm. The house provided plenty of space for a week primary spent indoors. The kitchen is very well equipped. The pool was a treat during the brief periods of sunshine. Continuous communication was provided during the Tropical storm. We hope to come back! ##### Angela D. We loved the accessibility of the house to all the fun in Kiawah! We had a private chef dinner one evening and the kitchen was well appointed for this fun! We enjoyed the pool and the opportunities for biking the island and the short walk to the beach was lovely! A great house to rent!! ##### Ann T. The house is beautiful and very roomy. The kitchen was fully equipped for any type meal. The communication with the host was very timely and informative. The location on Kiawah Island was special. Very quiet and remote with a 10 minute walk to the beach. The pool and spa are both heated and a welcomed relief after a day on the beach. We’d highly recommend the property if you like quiet and restful. ##### Doug S. We've stayed in a few different houses in the Kiawah area, and this was by far our favorite. The house was spacious (the pictures don't do it justice) and the beach is just a 2-3 minute walk away. The owners thought of many thoughtful touches (having extra toilet paper, Ziplocks, lots of spices - it's the little things!) that made the trip very easy. The heated pool was our boys' favorite part of a rainy few days, but made the trip! House is in excellent condition and very clean. Hope we can come back again soon! ##### Sarah B. My husband and I are local to Charleston now but our sons still live in Massachusetts so a beach vacation in April was a treat for them. The home is just as pictured. Large and clean and nicely decorated, although as you can tell from the pictures it is a bit dated. But almost charmingly so - and the price fairly reflects that. Amazingly stocked kitchen as other reviewers have stated- I.e., a draw full of multi sized ziploc bags! We had a very hard time getting our 9, 7, and 5 year old grandkids to leave the pool and hot tub to take the beautiful walk to the beach. But when we did we had this huge beautiful beach to ourselves. Stunning. ##### Sandy B. The 5 star reviews are real! While it is an older home, it's cared for very well. Probably the best stocked kitchen I've seen in a rental. The pool and hot tub was fun for the kids. We rented bikes and had a short 5 minute ride to the beach access. Beds were super comfy and I really have zero complaints. There is an onsite manager who can assist you if you need help or have questions, I didn't realize this until a couple days in but Kim the owner was kind and responsive to me. There is a house being built beside it but it was not noisy or bothersome at all. I would absolutely rent this property again in a future visit. ##### Karin M. The location is close to a path that leads directly to the beach. The kitchen is well equipped and perfectly laid out for a crowd. This is our favorite house yet after many stays on Kiawah Island!
