About this property

True Ski-In/Ski-Out Luxury at Lone Eagle – Highest 2BR on the Slope Side

  • The most desirable two-bedroom location in Lone Eagle—this is the highest slope-side 2BR with unobstructed views of the mountain. Lone Eagle is the only true ski-in/ski-out building in River Run, allowing you to step out the door and onto the slopes—no shuttles, no walking, no hassle.

This condo is one of the most desirable two-bedroom units in the building:

Highest two-bedroom unit on the slope side (4th floor)
Unobstructed views of skiers and riders descending the mountain
Elevated above most of the building for a quieter, more private experience

While the building has five floors, there are no two-bedroom slope-side units above this one—making this a rare combination of layout, location, and view.

Start your morning with coffee overlooking the slopes as skiers make their first runs, and unwind in the evening as the mountain settles into alpenglow. The view alone makes this a memorable mountain escape.

If you're looking for the perfect blend of true ski-in/ski-out access, top-tier views, and one of the best two-bedroom locations in Lone Eagle, this is it.

The elevator has only had four short outages since May 2024.

Communication from the start was fantastic. The welcome directions online were clear and easy to follow. The condo blew our expectations away. From the friendly residents to the polite staff and convenient location could not have asked for better accommodations. Would 100% come back and recommend a stay here if you’re looking for a stress free getaway.

My wife and I have stayed in condos in River Run a number of times and this was by far the best experience we have ever had. Larry was an outstanding host who actually spent some time with us over a "lemonade" one evening after he brought a new chair to the condo to replace an older one. It was great getting to know him a little and to learn a little about the condo. This condo is, in fact, a TRUE ski-in ski-out condo. It is, at most, 20 feet from the door of the ski lockers to where you put on your skis and ski down to either the Gondola or the Summit Express chair lift. The condo was VERY nice and VERY clean. We were lacking for nothing the entire two weeks we were there. We sure hope to be able to book this condo again in the future. THANK YOU Larry.

I would not recommend this unit for a summer stay. In order to keep it cool, it needs to be closed up most of the day so it is dark and uninviting. The sun coming into the unit is great in the winter, but not in the summer. The unit furniture is worn and needs updating. The patio bricks are crumbling. The kitchen is well stocked. Good location.

Wine Festival Stay

Property was Ok. Nice location. Generally clean. But property is way overrated. The deck is an absolute mess with broken down pavers and peeling paint. Repairs are badly needed. That issue alone makes it an average property. Not the owners issue but hottub was not working for the building and no plan for repairing was in place. We pay for these amenities! Also oven was replaced which is fine but the trim around the oven was replaced. Looks tacky.

What a lovely condo! The location was perfect - close to everything. We’ve stayed in several VRBO condos and this was definitely one of the best. We will definitely book this condo again on our next trip to Keystone! Highly recommended!

Great Ski in/out

We have stayed at Lone Eagle numerous times and really love the easy ski in/out. The condo was great, could use some more kitchen supplies, but we made do with what was available. The overall property needs a little attention. I know the owners pay quite a bit of money in HOA dues. Hot tub was low in water and needed some chemical balancing, bubbles with jets on. Also, the trash outside was overlflowing.

You can't go wrong with this gem. Best location in all of Keystone. This particular unit also boasts a fantastic view of Dercums Dash. Clean, cozy and comfortable. The hour tub is large and the jets are very strong which is perfect after a long day on the slopes. 5 stars all the way around...

Can't beat the location

The location was great for ski in/out. Just take a few steps out of the door of the building, click into your skis and slide down to the lift. When you are done, ski right up to the door. The place was clean, quiet and had all the necessities. The elevator was slow but nearby and working fine. A stairway was also close as an alternative. Parking was a little tight but it did accommodate our full size SUV with a topper on top having an 8' clearance height in the warm garage. Communication with the host was very good. The cost was a bit of a stretch for our personal finances but I know it was competitively priced for its location. I would consider coming here again. I definitely love the ski in, ski out.
