We enjoyed our holiday, on the rural edge of the village, in pretty countryside and not far from both a bigger village and Keswick. All as described. A shame there isn't a garden at all, but not a big problem. At least there is off road parking. The cottage is old but pleasantly modernised and comfortably furnished. However, there is some black mould in the bathroom which could easily be dealt with, but hasn't been. And maybe a manual switch to activate the extractor as there isn't a window in the bathroom. And finally, it was disappointing to find no cleaning products or materials nor basics like washing up liquid, salt and pepper etc, and only one tea towel and no spare bin liners. One doesn't really want to buy all these things for a weeks stay ...plus the inconvenience of not finding out till late on a Saturday! Done to help the local economy? It was an irritation which slightly tainted our stay, although location and accommodation wise, we did enjoy our stay.
